Inconsiderate driver blocking both drive thru lanes at popular fast food place during peak times. Why would a rig this size attempt a drive-thru…? Based on this laziness I’d be weary of hiring them for any actual labor…. Looks can be deceiving I guess… But

I contacted Suburban Lawnscapes on a Thursday afternoon. Having been drowned by rain in our area for weeks, and leaving for a vacation the following afternoon, I was desperate for assistance in mowing down my now out of control lawn. I spoke with Bryan on the phone, who completely understood my plight, and explained he'd have his team out no later than Saturday, but hoped as early as Friday. Sure enough, Friday morning rolls around and here comes the very clean Suburban Lawnscapes truck and trailer. A team of (4) stepped out and went right to work. They accomplished in roughly 30 minutes, what normally takes me 2+ hours. Their execution was impressive, and their cleanup was outstanding. The attention to detail of edging sidewalks and weed eating around bed spaces was phenomenal. I highly recommend Suburban Lawnscapes to anyone in need of mowing services.

I will caveat this by saying that I have NOT had any services performed with this company. However, this review is based on their unprofessionalism in trying to obtain service. I initially e-mailed this company back in early March, regarding spring cleanup. I was having a birthday party for my son on March 15th, and needed my yard cleaned before then. It took the rep one whole week to get back to me, which I found to be a bit ridiculous, but hey. Then it snowed. Once the snow melted, I had about a week before the party. I e-mailed the company again and was told that they could schedule an estimate and get the yard cleaned before the 15th. The individual assured me that he could do the estimate later that afternoon, but I also told him that my husband would be home that Thursday and Friday before the 15th, just in case. The individual told me that he would call me to let me know when he was on his way. I left work early, so that I could meet him at my house. Never called, never showed up. Apparently, he decided to show up whenever he wanted to later in the week, while my husband was home. Never knocked, never rang the doorbell. Didn't tell me that he had shown up and left the estimate in the mailbox. I didn't see that estimate until the evening of the 14th. I will say that the prices were reasonable, but I was unimpressed with their professionalism thus far. I wasn't able to get my yard cleaned before the party. Fine, then. We went out of town the following week. Upon our return, I figured I'd give him another chance. Called him and told him that I didn't realize that he had shown up, that he didn't contact me like he was supposed to. Said he had been really busy and that he had left the estimate in the mailbox. I told him that he should've sent me an e-mail or a text, since he had my contact info. Anyway, he let me know that he would call me the following Monday to plan a day for him to come out and do the job. It's now Thursday. I haven't received a phone call from him, an e-mail, nothing. This company was set to make a good chunk of money from me - spring clean-up, sod work, shrubbery, weekly mowing service, among other small projects. Their loss. I'm now speaking with another company for lawn maintenance and landscaping. Alienating your potential customers and making promises you don't intend to keep are NOT good business protocol. Your customer service leaves MUCH to be desired.
