  Had a 461 built by Stroup’s. The build was way overpriced and the service was terrible. Staff was very rude and told me I couldn’t buy the power head with out the bar and chain and that the price was included in with it and then on the receipt I was charged for the bar and chain (I’m a timberfaller and every saw I have ever bought has just been a power head because I already have bars and make and break my own chains) the build on the saw was almost $1000 which is ridiculous because I have saws that are much hotter built at Clearwater Saw Shop for around $400. Definitely only going to use Al’s for small stuff from now on, much better service and certainly never going to have them build me a saw again.

  Very mechanically inclined staff, straight forward no wasting time, personnel do their best to keep you informed every step of the way, buying new, repairing or just questions about equipment they know their stuff!! I appreciate this company. Keep up the great work and service to this community!
