This review is after my experience that I had with your service department and the bill that I received to do service on my Jon Deere riding mower after owning it for a year. The only reason I didn’t give 1 star was your service manager offered to pick up our mower a second time for free after the shop forgot to fix my flat tires the first time. Unfortunately they charged me over $170 bucks to replace 4 tubes on the 4 tires. He said that wasn’t their charge, it came from the tire company they sent the tires to although they didn’t tell me exactly which one so I check with the tire company to see if he was telling me the truth or not. My total bill to “service” my small riding lawn mower was $495 for a new quick change oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, sharpening our blades, cleaning the lawnmower, lubing, checking the battery, and $90 for pick up and delivery. I can go to Jiffy Lube and get an oil change with premium oil, filter, lube, and top off all fluids on my car for $75 bucks! I don’t begrudge someone trying to make a living, but I do take offense when I feel like I have been taken advantage of or overcharged. I didn’t ask for a bid, just asked to have my mower serviced and the tires fixed. Lesson learned to get a quote before hand so I don’t get surprised afterwards.

Purchased new 2025R. Working with Jeff Kirk. He is knowledgable and helpful. Look forward to support from the dealership as I use my tractor putting in driveway, fencing, mowing, etc.

This post relates specifically to my first 50 hour service on a new 2025 tractor with Stotz. The cost for this service was higher than my expectations. When questioned, the service counter help said “you’ll see, they did a lot”. They replaced filters in oil, hyd, transmission, fuel and air and new engine oil. They also checked about 20 other items with no repairs needed. Total parts were 100 dollars. Total labor was 370 dollars. Did this entire service take more than a few hours? Do you think that just shy of 400 in labor is justified? Shop around for service is my advice.
