I hired this company via the recommendation of Johnathan Vines a landscape architect here in Moultrie, GA. (Mistake). I paid this company 61,000.00 to install irrigation, landscape, sod, hardscape. Which as a matter of fact; he did not even have to mail me a bill. He handed over an invoice and he got paid immediately. Well, the sod that was laid was riddled with weeds. That should have been my first clue that this company is less than ethical. However, I was convinced with their 210.00 a month maintenance plan the weeds would be taken care of. (I should have made them take the sod up and replace it with different sod). The company was to return to landscape the back of my office which is what the patients see when they are in the dental chair. Matt, (whom I assume is the owner ..without the owner mentality) kept pushing the back of the office project off. This was back in the summer. Therefore, I called and asked could he put me on his schedule for November. He was appreciative because he was so ‘slammed’. I called in October to confirm my installation for November… I was given a plethora of excuses as to why he could not do it in November. Fast forward … Moultrie is a small town and obviously I’m not part of the good ole boys club. This week I was walking my dog and guess who is landscaping my neighbors back yard…but could not get to my office back yard… it was Stony Creek. Well I know for a fact my neighbors yard was not on his November schedule. He met my neighbor after doing my office yard. So how is one to feel when you have paid someone 61k and you are not priority over your neighbors yard whose yard had to be re- landscape after someone else had landscaped it poorly. It’s like not being picked for the basketball game at recess. I know the reasons he has ‘picked’ this guys yard over mine. It’s a good ole boys thing. Moral of the story: don’t use this company! They have no ethics or morals. They are only concerned about their own advancement. They are not concerned about what is right and moral. Look for a different company. Stoney Creek plays small town politics over good down home values.
