I’ve used splawn for more than a year now and the products have always been exactly what I needed at a fair and reasonable price.  Nice folks who provide a great product and service.

Well run business with good people operating it.  Is an important part of the community is important it's there.

I give this poor rating because the website describes sand as topsoil and not as sand. Soil is brown to black and can grow plants. Sand is yellow to white and can grow very few plants.   After ordering 3 cubic yard of topSOIL   I received 3 cubic yards of sand.  The manager argued with me about the nature of the sand.  He said he would not refund even if I were able to bring the sand back to his yard, nor would he give me a refund despite the inaccurately described product.   I will not do business with this company again.

My tire blew out and I had to pull in to there business. They helped change it and even put air in it for me so I could make it safely back home. The hospitality given even though I was not a customer was a blessing. Thank you and God bless. They have an excellent selection of product. My loyalty will always go to them for their kindness.

My 5 month pregnant wife tried to order "top soil" from this company. When they delivered literal beach sand, she called to have them come back and replace it. Their response was, "Sorry, it's a matter of definition. We're not going to go back and forth with you about this." It's sad that rude companies like this still exist. Never returning.

Tried to order 12 yards of top soil over the phone, got yelled at for not having "common sense" and raised attitude towards me the Customer who just wants dirt 3 miles down the road! Would not recommend this service to anyone due to the poor customer service and Insults towards the customer.

Please, do not ever support this business. I did and am unbelievably sorry about it. I called after their recommendation for “bedding soil” in a raised bed is killing my plants and was greeted with the worst, most hateful man on the phone. He would not tell me his name and insisted I’d already been emailed all the information from the secretary. But I’ve never received an email. They don’t even HAVE my email address. He told me if I wanted to know what was in the soil, to contact the company they get it from. I asked if anyone there could talk to me about the contents of the bedding soil and he told me no, I just needed to contact the company. He berated me, he yelled at me, and then hung up on me.

As a driver delivering to them. Awesome place and very friendly staff. Super selection of stone.
