This place is conveniently located and has a great selection of hardware. The tool departments have a lot to be desired and it seems like they tend to redirect those resources to other things such as hunting and fishing supplies. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s called southern hardware, not southern outdoor supply. Does not meet my expectations on the prices either. VERY good customer service and helpful staff

Unfortunately their Echo products are listed above MSRP. For this reason alone I would not recommend them as your Echo supplier. They were not willing to work with me when I contacted them about it.

I have purchased several thousands of dollars worth of equipment from them in the past, but will go elsewhere from now on.

The experience of customer service is great. They have great inventory of mowers, lawn equipment, trailers, and other stuff you need from a hardware store.

Great selection of stuff on hand. Prices are fair and people are friendly too. Bought my trailer, blower, edger/trimmer cash out right.
Got my eyes on a Gravley Mower. But I gots no credit, so I need to save the $4,200

My go-to hardware / outdoor supply store and keeps me out of the big box joints.  Staff is Freindly and helpful and the merchandise selection is incredible.  Not only in variety but also selection. "If they don't have it, you don't need it"

Went to see Chelsea at Southern Hardware to pick up my new gravely zero turn mower today and after we finished with the paperwork and I left and 2 miles up the road on I95 trailer had a blowout, but once I made contact with Miss Chelsea about my situation she had 2 tires & rims for my trailer and sent a young fellow to help me change both trailer tires and had me back on the road again and made me a customer for life

These folks know how to do customer service right! There hasn't been a time I have ever been in there that at least two people hasn't asked if they could help me. They Always are willing to answer any questions I asked or at least try too. The prices are great considering they are in only hardware store out in this area. I just can't say enough good about this business. We need more businesses with employees willingness to help like Southern Hardware.

Home town store been going here for a long long time, everyone is very helpful and nice, I enjoyed going there they also have a variety of home town goodies to mowers I have always enjoyed going there.
