We’ve been using their service for the last few years & this year has been the worse. They are hard to get a hold of. When you actually get a hold of Luke, he has an attitude & is rude, when you’re being calm. They will even keep track of how many times you call with questions or concerns & throw that in your face. During the beginning of the season we notice our driveway was being plowed sort 1 space so we called to see what the discrepancy was. We spoke to a nice lady who informed us it was because once section was changed to pea gravel & that it could not be done because the window may break. No big deal, we thanks her for the clarification. Then we wanted to know why we were being charged the same rate when less work was being done. Apparently, we were being charged their minimum seasonal rate, so we let it slide. Within the last few weeks we’ve noticed they have been plowing sort of the markers by at least a foot & when we inform them about it we’ve been told we are being “petty” & have plenty of other customers who are happy with their service. Luke said that indeed you could park 2 cars there & that he was cancelling our service because we called “TOO” much, to complain. 5 times to be exactly over the last 2 season. Well, 1 of those times was from last season, 2 from the beginning of this season to ask about why we only being plowed for 2 spaces instead of 3 and the last 2 were because we’ve noticed they were not plowing over far enough to fit out 2 mid-size SUV. So, if you want service from someone who takes awhile to call back, sends rude emails, calls you petty, says he has 300 customers who are happy & will just cancel your service then Luke is your guy!

Iv done snow removal for nearly 15 years and those complaints truly are petty. I was just researching a good landscape company to refer my tree work skills too, and just had to speak up. Snow removal is of course going to be good when it doesn't snow. Snow removal is of course going to be done at 1AM 2AM. Did all of you forget the difference in how long it takes to shovel a driveway from one inch of snow, to 2 feet of snow... just because we're in tractors, doesn't mean it takes us the same amount of time. 300 accounts is enough to maybe pay for one piece of equipment. If all goes as planned you can eat and pay your bills and maybe make a profit off of it in a few years. SORRY, can't be at everyones house magically the hour your leaving for work. And if your complaining about one foot of snow near the edges of the stakes. See what happens when you get a guy who goes too close to the snow poles... you'll get a guy who doesn't get to your driveway at all until he gets that peice of rebar torched out of that magical little box that makes all your snow disappear while you get to sleep... and those loyal customer prices? check out the cost it takes to buy and maintain and keep a legal standing tax paying snow removal machine... your getting a screaming deal if your driveway is less the 600$ a year. A fair deal would be 1,000$ a year. But who EVER? gets paid what they deserve in the labor industry? Be grateful folks🙏. Sean Gannon tree service if I can ever be of assistance to you Mapes. I'm not new to town but I have been doing tree work 15 years climbing and finally trying to find any leads I can to make it through a winter of paying for equipment that I can't make money on in the snow, just like I'm sure you have in the summer with your snow equipment. Thanks for reading😁

For 3 years Mapes did a good job plowing my long driveway in Christmas Valley. He was paid a set fee in advance for the entire season regardless of the snowfall, and he did keep the driveway clear during these light snow seasons. I figured he would earn his money once the heavy seasons started. This last year 2017 it's as if he dropped off the planet. I could not get a hold of him. Phone calls went to voice mail, no response to emails, etc. Poor business practices and treatment of a once loyal customer.
