  Completely satisfied with Shelly McKinney and her entire team! We moved from Pittsburgh to a new build in Hendersonville. The landscaping was very important to us as my wife and I had essentially created our own landscape after 25 years in Pittsburgh. Even though during the pandemic and challenged by 500 miles Shelly went above and beyond to meet with us when we came down and held video meetings and get a flavor for exactly what we wanted. Our goal was a landscape that used the natural flow of the land and she certainly delivered. She was very clear and explicit on the plans and totally respected our “amateur” feedback. Despite many challenges (labor shortages, Hurricane Fred, our many on-the-spot changes and some others) Shelly and her crew remained diligent and completed their work to the highest degree of quality. The results are just spectacular. The hardscape, which includes a re-built retaining wall, multiple new retaining walls and a new fire-pit area are not only natural looking but are highly functional. We are enjoying nights grilling or sitting around a fire-pit with friends! And all was done in a way to ensure that the gobs of rain that occasionally hit will drain properly. But despite the natural look and the functionality, the visual spectacle of beauty is what has been most overwhelming. Every day we are in amazement and have enjoyed so many peaceful moments in our yard, whether just walking around or digging in the dirt to plant! We would highly recommend Shelly and her team and are so grateful that after much research we selected Snow Creek!

  In years past Snow Creek did great work and I recommended them frequently. This year something changed with their team. Their yard maintenance in my subdivision has been truly horrible. Instead of correctly edging, they turn weed eaters flat to the ground and cut to the dirt, killing all grass. See pictures along sidewalk, around base of tree and base of mailbox. I will NEVER recommend Snow Creek for any work again!

  Angel, thank you for your information. We also did receive your website inquiry which we responded to. While we 100% want to make sure the above things are not happening, we do feel it acceptable to explain a little more about your photographs to the general public as they are now displayed. We think these pictures depict areas where either warm season or annual grass has gone dormant for the year. Tall fescue in our area begins to go dormant as cool weather arrives, usually in mid to late October.  We have not mowed in your community in over a month as the grass has slowed or stopped growing.  We have been removing leaves and the second picture may be showing where leaves were removed from the bed area, leaving some dirt showing. Additionally, certain crab grasses will display what you are seeing, but a preventative would have been needed prior to us taking the account on in the summer. We will be applying this in the spring, however. Mulching areas such as what you are seeing, is on the homeowner, but we can certainly talk to the HOA about coming up with a plan to help each additional resident. We appreciate your feedback and will definitely be sure to coach our team regarding proper trimming techniques when we resume mowing in March.

  We chose Snow Creek Landscaping after seeing their work at a new home under construction in our neighborhood. What they had done looked great and we felt they could do a good job for us as well. We needed a lot of help selecting and placing plants and trees that would provide much needed privacy from the road while still being low maintenance. They provided plans and an estimate in short order and were very responsive with any questions we had. The process from start to finish was great in that the Design and Project Management Team were on site frequently to ensure everything went in where it was supposed to. The end results exceeded our expectations and we have received numerous compliments from our neighbors. We will be using them again on our next project. Great experience all around!
