  We had a large amount of acreage masticated and cleaned up by SLOmow and fencing installed. The land is hilly and was densely covered with brush; SLOmow did a beautiful job removing the brush while saving every single manzanita and ceanothus plant--this took a lot of skill and care and far exceeded our expectations. When SLOmow first came out to assess the job the owner explained the process he would recommend to not only remove the brush but to keep it from coming back; since part of the reason for the work was fire safety this made sense and even though it added to the cost it was absolutely worth it. We thought we would end up with cleared areas acting as firebreaks and a new fence. What we got far exceeded our expectations; the end result gave us beautiful and useable acreage which before was impenetrable. Randy, one of SLOmow's equipment operators, was an absolute gem to work with; he worked long hours and checked with us often to make sure he was working the areas we wanted cleared. He also made us some wonderful hiking and riding trails through the remaining brush. The fencing job was completed efficiently and SLOmow charged a reasonable price. With our approval they were able to use some old t posts and a mixture of barb wire leftovers to help save on the cost and we were very happy to be using recycled materials for that part of the project. Again this was a difficult project due to the terrain and the fencing crew did a great job. SLOmow is a good company to work with; the owners, Natalie and Robby, are responsive and seem to sincerely care that their customers are pleased with their work. We feel fortunate that they were willing to take our projects on and are very pleased with the end result. We look forward to hiring them again for more brush clearing in the future.

  Don't waste your money with this company. Their staff is unsupervised and irresponsible. We were not happy with their mastication operator and despite several requests to fix the issue, they were not able to get it right. The owners made un-ending excuses, were unprofessional and difficult to reach while their crew was on our property. They than handed us a huge bill and claimed the mastication operator worked 4 hours more than he actually had. Of course, they were never on the property, so how would they know. Stay away.
