  There are some things in life that are worth waiting for.... good sod is one of them! I recently was in search of Zeon Zoysia however it was important to me that I received really fresh sod. Over the years, I’ve ordered sod from others vendors but this time I went with a company I hadn’t previously used, San Antonio Grass. After reading online reviews about this company, I figured I’d give them a shot. I couldn’t have been happier with the sod received... it was incredible - clearly just cut and delivered the same day! If you want really fresh sod, give San Antonio Grass a call.... they’ve earned my business and wouldn’t go anywhere else at this point! Bill Taylor

  My rating reflects the false claim of service area on the company website saying they service my area (and past my area) on their website but then when trying to get a quote was told they don’t service my area. Complete waste of my time waiting days for a response to my email since no one would answer the phone. The email I received stated “Good morning Mr. Ford. Thank you for emailing me back. Unfortunately, we do not service the area you are in. It is too far for us as we are located in Selma, Texas. Take care and best of luck with your project.” I suggest to update your website with correct information as to not waste anyone else’s time, unless I was just told that because no one wanted to help. Either way, your company was a bad experience due to misinformation posted on their website as I would have never contacted you (and waited days for response) except you advertise that you in fact DO service my area. Best of luck with future customers.

  Mr. Ford, our grass website does state we service Lytle and it also states that we supply the sod. Your email request was for sod AND the installation of sod. Delivering sod is service we provide in and around San Antonio, however, that is different than providing installation services, which depending on the scope of the job, could require more resources that we have available. As a small business, we strive to provide quality and timely service so we are sure never to overextend ourselves. Regarding your claim of waiting days for a response, lets clarify that. Your email request was responded to within 24 hours. You email request for the sod and installation was received on Thursday 2/4 at 3:08 pm. Your email was responded to on Friday 2/5 at 1:47 pm. You responded to that email on Friday at 3:17 pm and it was responded to again within 24 hours as the email to inform you that we would not be able fulfill your request was sent to you on Monday at 9:21 am. We are closed on the weekends. Furthermore, I do not recall receiving a voicemail from you. if we did miss your phone call(s), we sincerely apologize, however, if we had received a voicemail it would have been responded to in the same timely fashion as your email. I am sorry you feel you had a bad experience and that you felt maybe we did not want to help. That is not the case as we would love to help everyone who requests our services, but in some situations it is not possible. The company would not still be in business after 25 years if we had a reputation for being the way you describe us in your email.   I called several times and they never answer their phones. I left two phone messages and my messages were never returned. My husband physically went over there because they didn’t answer their phones and asked them to call me and they still never called me. Poor customer service and they lost a sale as we are ready to install and they never called us back.

  Good Morning Mrs. Chapa. I'm sorry you feel our customer service is not to your satisfaction. We get over 1000 calls per day, and those calls we miss go to voicemail. We do return phone calls to all messages left, but because there are over 100 messages, it does take us some time to call everyone back. Why didn't your husband place the order when he came in? We would have been happy to schedule you at that time.
