  I went to Ace 2 days ago to buy a hammer. When I got to the register, the cashier, Jordan - who appeared to be a young high school student - seemed pretty happy, smiling & even said hello to my daughter. I noticed after she'd rung up the hammer the price was different from that on the shelf. I told Jordan that the tag on the shelf said $6.99 & without even missing a beat she says oh I'm sorry about that sometimes it takes a while for the tag on the shelf to get change to the new price or maybe you were looking at the wrong tag. I went back & took a picture of the tag, which was correctly labeled, and brought it back up to show her. She just looked at me & said okay. Uh so I asked her are you telling me you're not goin to honor the price on the shelf? She flat out told me no!!! I couldn't believe how unprofessional and plain RUDE this girl was! I asked to speak with the manager, she rolled her eyes at me!!! Then called for her manager, Heather - Heather was very polite & literally had Jordan make 2 little clicks of her mouse and typed in the shelf price! I hardly ever find myself shopping at Salmon ACE Hardware, but when I do all the associates have been more than helpful & kind, but this cashier, Jordan was unbelievable! I could hard believe they had someone with such awful customer services skills dealing first hand with ANY customers!
