  Retained Ruffino's Landscape to clean up my yards this spring. It was "cleaned" but the crew left a mess, including trimmings in bushes and trees, debris all over the back porch and hidden behind bushes and other foliage. I also had to repair more than a dozen drip lines and heads they broke during their "clean up" because they didn't pay attention to where they were using the weed wacker or other tools. The pond, which they contracted out, was very nicely cleaned, though. Decided not to retain this business for regular maintenance. When I brought these issues to Ruffino's attention, I never heard back from him.

  Gloria! It seems like you had a bad experience with a landscaper, however, whomever you contracted with was NOT Ruffino's Landscape. You can always search the Contractors State License Board at www.cslb.ca.gov to verify the contractor you are considering hiring is licensed, bonded and is who they claim to be. I assure you that Ruffino's Landscape is a licensed & bonded contractor and although we have been servicing northern California for nearly 30 years, we have never contracted with you.
