  I was in need of someone with knowledge on irrigation systems, as I knew that’s what I wanted but didn’t know all the “ins and outs”. I reached out to this company, and their project coordinator came right out, was on time, as she said she would be, which was great! She was very professional and took her time to explain and recommend what she felt was best for my needs! She followed up with me, as I had asked her, so we could think about it first. Upon her follow up phone call, I went ahead and allowed this company to install the irrigation system! The crew was awesome, and very professional throughout the install. I WOULD highly recommend anyone with any needs that this company can offer to give them a call and meet with them to go over your needs! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks to the crew for such a great experience!

  Horrible experience with Richard McCormick. He doesn't even deserve 1 star. I used Reliable 4 years ago for a very large scale project and the work was decent so I thought I would hire the company again. I regret making that decision. This time, Richard McCormick did absolutely nothing he said he was going to do. I wanted the work to be completed by the first week of June and during our conversation, in the beginning of May, he said that would not be a problem. This did NOT happen. Richard McCormick acted as if he was doing me a huge favor by doing my job a week late. He said he would give me a design plan for the new landscaping I wanted. This did NOT happen. Richard McCormick said he would go to the nursery with me to advise what would work best in my new space. This did NOT happen. He called me minutes before I expected him to arrive at my home and said he could not go because he had other things to do. Richard McCormick said he would be at my home by noon to oversee the installation of the new landscaping. This did NOT happen. When he finally arrived, several bushes had to be moved because they were too close to the AC unit. One of his employees got sick but continued to work and Richard McCormick commented that I probably did not want the guy to die on my property. This was a crude and completely unnecessary comment to make, especially since I had been trying to give him water and ice chips to make him feel better. Richard McCormick NEVER picked up his phone when I called him and he only returned my text when I sent 2-3 messages in a row. One week after the work was done, I had a brand new area landscaped with over $1000 worth of plantings covered with mulch and bermuda grass. I tried to dig it out for 2 days and barely made a dent. When I contacted Richard McCormick about this, he said I should maintain it with Round-up. I advised him I could not use the product because the bermuda grass was growing through the new plantings and I wasn't going to jeopardize $1000 worth of new landscaping because he did not treat this area before anything got planted. Also, why should I have to maintain something that is brand new that I paid an excessive amount of $ for. Based on my own experience , if you are not spending $20,000 or more, Richard McCormick could care less if you are satisfied or not. One last thing, I have never understood why Richard McCormick uses one of his landscaping employee's address as his company's address when his company is located in White House. Maybe it is because he wants people in Hendersonville to think his company is local . I am sure I will have additional comments after Richard McCormick gives his response. In response to Mr. McCormick's comments, like I said above, I hired him to do a project 4 years ago and that is when I met him. Every word in the above review is accurate and true. As for the other comments, I have sent 2 text messages to Mr. McCormick regarding the deplorable condition of my new landscaping bed. The first one was sent 7 days after the work was finished and Mr. McCormick did not respond. I tried for 2 days to dig the bermuda grass out myself. When I couldn't do it, I sent another message 1 week later. I also responded via text to his messages to me. It is an extreme exaggeration to call this harassment, but I guess when you know you are in the wrong, you must come up with something.

  We let our reputation speak for itself. This person is harassing us and and done that via text. We knew this type of review was coming and we can’t stop anyone for trying to hurt us if they are determined to have their way. We won’t do business with this person because of the harassment via text. The review has no merit and is unjust but it’s the day we live now in social media. It’s important to note we have known this person for many years and did a beautiful landscaping overhaul which we feature those pics on our place page. Prior to that we provided Irrigation repair a few weeks prior to this outrageous and malicious review. We had a guy sick but he got through it and is alive LOL. We will be submitting this to Google guidelines for removal.

  Richard is always great to work with. We added irrigation to the rest of our back yard and will have him put in our sod later in the year. This is our third time to deal with Reliable Landscaping and Irrigation and will continue to use them for our landscaping needs. He has installed irrigation, sod and lighting to our house and we have always been courteous and professional. Richard will spend time to answer all your questions and he makes sure you are completely satisfied with the work.
