  When he came to do the inspection he identified several spots of poison ivy, and said that I'd pay for however much of the time as they used, but that their full day rate was $1200 (which turned out to be $1,500 after additional fees). The team got here, worked for three hours and left, missing several noticeable patches of poison ivy, such as the one in the photo I attached. I texted to complain, both about being charged the full day price for less than half a day's work, as well as his team not even finishing the job. He eventually sent them back to get the spots they missed, but refused to budge on the price, claiming I was so far away that they had to charge the full day rate regardless of how much time was spent (I live in Westchester also, less than 30 minutes away). He tried repeatedly to convince me that this was worthwhile because he'd be returning later in case they missed even more spots, and also tried to suggest I use his team to do small chores around my yard to use up the additional time. Bottom line was we agreed on a pricing structure and then he lied and forced me to pay more than we agreed upon. They got rid of the poison ivy, but I feel deceived and taken advantage of. Don't use these guys unless you have a full day's worth of poison ivy to remove, because that's what he's going to try charge you, no matter what.

  Hi Mike, we are sorry you were not satisfied. We immediately responded to your concerns, sending the crew back the same day within minutes of your text alerting us to the issue, an hour after they had already left Cortlandt Manor and were back down in White Plains. The crew was immediately sent back the same day, and completed the work to your satisfaction. In addition, we set a date for end of season to return to your property, not to check for things "we missed the first time", but to get any "new" growth that may happen between now and end of season (roots that were not currently growing any plants yet, basically which are invisible to the eye at time of original job). They spent a total of 4 hours onsite, (not including said travel time of 40 minutes each way from White Plains to Cortlandt Manor, 80 minutes round trip, or the trip offsite to unload debris from your yard, which wouild add at least another hour to said 8 hour day). We tried our best to explain to you, on the date of appointment, yesterday, and even scheduled a call to talk this over with you, which we both agreed upon a time to do so. We then received a text from you stating that it was not worth discussing your concerns any further so we wouldn't need to talk about it on the phone after all. That correspondance between us, was all yesterday, via text, the original date of appointment. We also did not ask you to make up and do other things around the yard to "make up" for any time, we asked if there was anything "extra" that we could do on the return trip, to right the situation to your satisfaction. In addition, today, the day after the appointment in question, we again texted with you to ask you if there was anything we could do to make up for your displeasure with the situation, to which you did not reply to, and this was "before" you had posted this review. We did not get a response from you. We tried to explain that the first day appointment, and the return visit and subsequent debris removal at end of season would definitely make up or exceed a full day of work when all was said and done. Not sure how we could have responded to your needs/concerns any better and am finding it hard not to see how that isn't a full day's work? You also, never asked us for a discount on the work we did, via text or email, when you addressed your concerns, and we didn't speak on the phone like we had requested to, in order to address your concerns and see if there was something we could agree to, but you didn't give us the option, and instead chose not to respond or discuss your concerns with us any further before writing this review. We take pride in making all of our customers happy, unfortunately in this case, we have failed your expectations and for that, we are truly sorry.

  Eddie's team was fantastic and completely professional. Showed up ready to work, and spent the entire day ridding our property of a large poison ivy infestation. They did a great job respecting the landscaping - some of the poison ivy was wrapped around established bushes we wanted to preserve - and got rid of every last bit of it. Chris, the foreman, was friendly and accommodating - he and his crew even removed a large invasive vine that was choking one of our trees, along with large patches of weeds. I would definitely recommend Eddie and his team!

  Eddie and his crew were absolutely amazing. They were super meticulous and extremely accommodating to my yards needs. Not the typical wham bam thank you mam landscaping crew. After a grueling three days of work my yard looks like botanical gardens. THANK YOU GUYS and will definitely be using you guys again and will 100% recommend to all my friends and family.
