  I called Old Town Tree Service at the recommendation of a friend who used them and had great luck with them. I sadly did not have the same service this company is known for. I had several issues when trying to get scheduled. It took a little over 2 weeks to get put in the schedule and that was after I had to make several calls to the manager and owner before hearing back with a date. Once the day for work came everything started off great. They showed up nice and early and got right to work. During work there was a Christmas decoration that was damaged and unusable which I was told a replacement would be dropped off the next day (this was the week of Christmas) but no replacement was dropped off. Also while doing work they needed to move a covered lawnmower which my wife handed the keys over and told them to just leave the keys in it. The keys were not left there but instead on a banister where they were blown off by the wind, no big deal but it was another issue that I had to contact the company again to get resolved since we were not informed where they keys were left. There was also a cable in the front yard that was the same height as the rest that now hangs about 5 feet lower over the driveway barely clearing a stock height pickup truck. I have a trampoline that was moved about 15’ that was not moved back and a debris pile 3’ high of sticks and almost 160 gallons of leaves and chippings that I had to pick up. Overall I did not have a good experience with this company and would jot recommend unless you don’t have other options. I give 2 stars and not 1 because there was a dead limb in a tree that was not discussed that was removed anyway. EDIT: Ben has gone to great lengths to make sure things got fixed. With the fast response to make sure the customer was satisfied and the word of mouth with how this company usually operates I will be considering Old Town Tree for future work. Ben I appreciate you reaching out to me and making things right on a Sunday morning.

  Sorry you had that experience. I will call you shortly and try and resolve these issues. The cable line that hangs lower now had slack in it to begin with. It was resting on the limbs I cut so once the limbs were gone it hung lower. The pile of sticks was already there and near a fire pit. We assumed those were for backyard fires. We cleaned up all the leaves in our work area. We do not always clean up every existing leaf in the yard. They did not put the trampoline back nor did they return the key. I apologize for that. The worst thing here is the lack of communication. We are going through a growth spurt and unfortunately you suffered from our growing pain. The power cord that got damaged was supposed to be replaced that day. Why that didn't occur baffles me and I apologize. It was purchased just not delivered. That is also on us. I am mortified to get a bad review. Please call me back if you want to discuss any further. Edit: Thank you for taking the time to speak with me and letting us resolve these issues. Again I apologize it happened in the first place. We are growing and hiring new people. Training takes time and mistakes will happen. I appreciate the feedback and we will use this experience as a learning opportunity and do better in the future.

  Chris came out to give me an estimate, he arrived right when he said he would and gave me an on the spot estimate. He scheduled the tree removal, and followed up with confirmations. Ben and crew arrived on time to remove the tree and did a great job. Great communication all around, I highly recommend Old Town Tree and Landscaping!

  As a Realtor I'm always on the look out for the best of the best in trades. After the tree trimming & removal work Old Town Tree just finished in my backyard, I'll be recommending their services to my clients without any hesitation! I got 3 bids prior to the job- Let me tell you what a jungle it is out there...The price range between the bids was shocking. With Old Town Tree being a fraction of the other 2 and I found out that Old Town Tree works closely with our landscape design company- Reading. The crew just finished up- They arrived early, were incredibly friendly & professional, listened to exactly what we were looking to accomplish & delivered! I'm looking forward to having them back again- they were even great with our dog...who also really liked them.
