  My experience with North Carolina Turf Care is that they are very uncommunicative. They do not follow through on what they say they are going to do. Instead of doing actual good work they aim for good enough. If you want to pay thousands of dollars for sod that is half dead and placed down on the yard with big gaps in between and have weeds growing in a week because of poor prep , then this is the company for you. But if you really want a good job done on your yard , maybe try a different company. The pictures are from 3 weeks after they laid my sod.

While we were pleased to see the majority of your yard turned out to be lush and green, we too were disappointed that a few pieces did not take. As communicated by management, we would love to replace the few pieces this week so that your entire yard looks great!

  I reached out to North Carolina Turf Care on 6/22/21. I was pleasantly surprised at the rapid response I received letting me know what services they provided as well as the price points. After a few more emails clarifying the size of my project I was advised that the Irrigation Department would be reaching out with more details and to discuss the project. This was followed up with “Please allow up to two weeks to be contacted.” I wasn’t thrilled about waiting two weeks but I wanted to support a local company and the initial exchange had been very positive so I figured they must be extremely busy and would probably be worth the wait. As of today, 7/18/21, I have received no follow up from them. It is a mystery to me how companies that don’t do what they say they will stay in business. North Carolina Turf Care May do great work but I’ll never know. I would advise anyone seeking assistance with their irrigation system to think long and hard about who they go to.

  Ryan and team did a phenomenal job on our backyard adding a retaining wall, drains, removing trees and shrubs, leveling the yard out and adding new sod and mulch. It's been such a pleasure to finally have a safe and functional space for our family to enjoy. A complete transformation! Ryan and team were super knowledgeable and professional. Everything was done on time and on budget and fully met our expectations (actually I don't think we imagined an outcome as beautiful as what was delivered).
