Generally, I am not happy with the overall service. Aerated and seeded at the start of the year. This helped about half of the bare spots in the front of the year. Was unable to eliminate many of the weeds that we talked about at the beginning of the session in the back of my yard (stilt grass, wild violets) and didn't handle the crab grass in front. I have a few large dead spots in front. I brought these issues to their attention several times. I shared these pictures with them.

Karl, we're sorry you're disappointed in our service. We'd like to speak with you about your account and works towards a resolution. A lawn full of weeds and stress takes time to turn around. It generally takes 1-2 full seasons with aeration and seeding in the fall to see major improvements when a lawn starts off in rough shape. With the new Montgomery County pesticide ban, organic weed controls are the only available option for applications while in accordance with the law, and these weed controls take time. I am going to just go back to overseeding my lawn every year myself. The $300-$400 of applications threw out the year from this company are 0 help. I’ve been using them for over 2 years and have followed their recommendations. My lawn has looked terrible both years and they always seem to have an excuse. First year they said it was compacted soil that killed all my grass, next year it was brown patch. Both years I’ve gone from 90-100 grass coverage to 30-40% after the summer. Also please check behind their service, I was told that compacted grass ruined my lawn so I should aerate. They came out and only pulled nearly .25-.5 plugs and left. If I didn’t check and complain my lawn would have still been compacted. Lucky I watched a video on their parent companies site which showed deep plugs and a process of screening the lawn after which the tech never did. When I called to complain they did come and redo it, but my point is if I hadn’t watched my lawn would still be compacted and money flushed down the toilet. This companies scheduled feeding and soil treatments just haven’t worked. My lawn once again is filled with weeds and little to no grass and one of the ugliest on the block.

I enrolled in their service at the beginning of the season (March 2021) I spoke to this branch in late August 2021 to schedule aeration and seeding. They put me on the schedule for the week of September 27th. I worked all weekend to prepare my lawn to be ready for the aeration and seeding. I called on 9/27 and they said I would be contacted a day before when they make the daily schedules. I did not hear from anyone so I called back on Friday. They stated I had been pushed back to the following week and I would receive an email. This is frustrating as the lawn was prepared per the original timeline, but I was still hopeful. I called them again on the following Tuesday and they again said they would email. They emailed Tuesday saying they would be there on Wednesday. On Wednesday no one showed. I then received an email on Thursday saying their vehicle broke down and they would be there Friday. Friday came, and again, they were a no show! I called this week and apparently I am not on the schedule until next week. Almost a month after I had originally scheduled and prepared my lawn as such. Who knows if they will even show? This whole scenario is definitely not producing a great lawn, so unfortunately I have to give them a 1 star rating for service, product quality and communication.

Our new branch manager just called and left you a detailed message with the first priority being to apologize. We also wanted to explain our labor crunch, and made it clear we will allowance the full amount for this service.
