  Run away! They will take your money and either perform service the wrong time of year (seeding late spring in Maryland) or not perform the services in the package they sold but still charge you the full amount. My lawn looks the worst it’s ever looked and the company has yet to address concerns despite multiple contacts. They just send me to a different person and no one actually addressed the concerns. They also came after being told to not put us on their schedule and performed a chemical service without communication - then my pet was let out on the grass shortly after. They shrugged it off like it was no big deal. In reply to their reply below: we came to an agreement that they would take corrective action in the fall. They NEVER contacted us, we reached out to them and they still never came to do the work. We did pay for services and received a charge back from our credit card regarding this particular service. However, they never performed all of the services that we paid for in the monthly visits nor did they refund for those services not provided. In response to your second reply, after countless emails with NO RESPONSE, we were forced to file a chargeback. This was filed prior to reaching any agreement because you never replied without me stating Multiple times that I would do a chargeback. I told your company that the chargeback would be dropped when you performed your end of the agreement. You did not. And I even reached out in the fall to confirm and you still did not. Also, You DID NOT perform all services, as we received only fertilizer and no weed control until we complained, not to mention the amount we put toward the fall seeding in our elite program that never happened. We paid for every single monthly application that you came to do - you did not continue to provide service and not be paid. You stopped providing service long before the chargeback. And had you done the agreed upon fall seeding, aeration and top soil, we would have happily cancelled the chargeback that we didn’t want to do to begin with. Your company destroyed our lawn, misguided us in treatment and didn’t give us all of what we paid for… and I have the photos and complaints to prove that.

  We only recommend spring seeding in the spring in isolated circumstances and then take additional steps to improve results. Sometimes those results are not desirable which is why we stood behind our work 100% and agreed to reseed entire lawn free of charge. We have been providing lawn care services for over 30 years, value our reputation and our customers and will guarantee our work as long as the customer gives the opportunity to do so which in this case they would not. Our customers get email and text message notifications for all services. In the end we got paid nothing for any of our work. 12-14-21 In response to your reply yesterday, the agreement was to re-perform the services you had paid for at no additional charge. We provided all services, as agreed, and have timestamped GPS records and legal documents/records to verify this. When you disputed the charge on the credit card you did not hold true to the terms of our agreement. We made numerous attempts to rectify this but again after providing numerous services over the course of several months without being paid, we could go no further. I am a life long resident of Calvert County, value my reputation as a member of the community and the trust our customers place in us as a company. We remain ready and willing to back up our work as agreed but must be paid for the services we provided. In over 30 years of providing services to this community, I have never had a disagreement escalate to this point.

  They do good work. Like most of these companies they draw you in with a great price, then they keep inching up the price and try to sell you more services. You have to evaluate how much you want to spend on maintaining a reasonably nice looking lawn. Our lawn has looked it’s best in 41 years with this company.

Our goal is to always be forthcoming and honest but yes, sometimes additional services are recommended for best results. Prices are based on square footage and should never be inched up but again for best results some supplementary services may be required.   Update 2. The second reseeding looks nice. Will update again this spring. Update: yes thanks for trying again natural green. I will look for the soil test results. I think it would be beneficial for you to present a checklist of things the homeowner should do to maintain their lawn. Water frequency, when to mow, what to look for when there’s a problem, etc…. The only time I see someone is when they come and apply something. Someone should have been looking for the worms and/or fungus this year to prevent the grass from completely disappearing. Instead of checking after the fact. Just my thoughts. Hopefully the grass comes back and I can make this a 5 as well. ******************************* So far, not so good. Not enough attention paid to my specific lawn. Seems like it’s just one soil test that you are unable to really verify and a generic checklist of things to throw your money at. Maybe they are able to turn this around but $1700 in this year and I’m looking at mostly bare ground. And that’s after a fall reseeding and $3000 leveling and all new topsoil (by a different company). I will update the rating if we get a turnaround here. I’m not mad at them, just want them to do better and be successful. Flea and tick treatment does seem to be effective though and I was skeptical.

  Mr. Pallotta, Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. We seeded your lawn late August and cut worms, a destructive insect that we could not have predicted, destroyed most of the new grass. We reseeded the entire lawn free of charge late October. Soil test results were emailed July 29th so if you did not receive please let us know and we will gladly provide. We are definitely sorry for the unforeseen hurdles, appreciate your patience, and look forward to earning that 5 star review!
