      I have found that if you have a job that's not large enough you don't get a response as promised. I requested a quote for two items. Spreading dirt laying sod and a quote for sprinkler installation. After a couple of weeks no quote sent to my email. Called the business and the reply was "We've been really busy due to the weather". It's now been over a month and still no quote.
