I had Michael as my technician today and he was just awesome. Before he performed the service he made sure to ask if I had any concerns or specific areas I wanted treated. He was so nice, professional and respectful. I have been using Moxie for over a year now and will continue to do so as their service is amazing and they treat their customers really well.

Michael was our technician today and he was AWESOME! He took the time to explain different plans of attack to get rid of flying ants & spiders. He also gave me tips on what I could personally do around the exterior of my house to help as well. I was very impressed with him and the service he provided!

We contracted with Moxie because we had a family of mice somehow make their way into our house. Before signing the contract, I specifically asked if they do more than just glue traps (and bait boxes outside), and was told that they do. I also called ahead of the earlier appointments to ask them to do an interior treatment, specifically for mice. Each time the techs showed up, they had no idea what they were needing to treat, and all they did was leave glue traps by the furnace, which, as we had explained, was not one of the areas that we had ever found droppings in. We ended up buying products online and taking care of the mouse infestation ourselves. Other issues: The first treatment we had was filled with noxious amounts of essential oils, to the point where we had to open the windows for a few days in the middle of winter so that we could breathe. We were not told beforehand that this spray would be used (as opposed to one with no smell), and the sheer amount of it lingering in the air for the next two weeks was horrible to deal with for family members with allergies and asthma. We were told afterward that we could have requested the spray with no smell, however we weren't given a choice ahead of time. A couple techs also did very spotty jobs in spraying the interior of our home, to the point where we only wanted them to do exterior treatments for the last few visits we had on contract. One tech completely ignored our entire basement because they were in a hurry, and left huge puddles of liquid in lines around the room on every hardwood surface, including in our kitchen, and areas where our pets eat. Lastly, our appointments were regularly scheduled for the same day that we were notified of them, leaving us only a few hours before they were scheduled to arrive to check our email and realize we needed to call to ask them to do a treatment inside as well, or even to reschedule if we wouldn't be home. Very inconvenient. This would be a one-star review, but their call center and whoever answers their phones is set up very well for customer service, making it very easy to get a hold of people and/or make changes to appointment times.
