Morning Dew plowed all the snow onto my car overnight making it impossible for me to leave the private parking lot from my job. Thanks for making me more unsafe, Morning doo doo
Response from the owner
Ondria, we are SO SORRY! We try really hard to avoid blocking cars in, we've had trucks & heavy equipment running non stop to clear streets and lots, and getting those piles out of the way. We provide all our clients with our 24 hour emergency phone number and really wish we had gotten a phone call - we would have been there in just a few minutes. From the picture we can't tell which property this is, could you share the location? Could we walk the site together? We would like to collaborate so you get a better outcome! In many cases, we don't control where those snow piles have to be placed - either site conditions or property managers lay that out for us. That said, we all understand the frustrations that accompany snow season in Flagstaff. If we all work together we can all enjoy better outcomes with less frustration on your part and likely effort on ours. Here are a few things we can do together to destress snow season in Northern Arizona: 1) Be Aware: For us who move snow, need to look out for where and how people are parked. For those using areas someone else plows, we need to avoid parking at the end of long, straight roadways or near those small, half-melted piles of snow (from the last storm) or the big ones from this storm. When those areas are blocked, more snow gets moved into less desirable spots - like the prime parking by entrances. 2) Look out for one another: This weather is ROUGH, and if we aren't headed to the ski hill, it's not fun to be out in it. Our plow and equipment operators got up and into that weather at 2:00 in the morning, to try to make things better - we really do not want to make things harder. If anyone sees their snow plow folks out clearing the lot, get their attention, they may have an idea that will make both of your day's far easier. When everyone is on the same page, the result is both better and faster. 3) Give one another some grace. We all have hard days. As plow operators, we tend to volunteer for more than our share, but try to help people wherever possible. The modern focus often placed on our own immediate interest sometimes make it easy to miss guidelines #1 and #2 - and we regularly see people pull out into deep snow right in front of our plows, or block those snow piles as we are pushing towards them, and get stuck or blocked in as a result. We're all human (i.e. imperfect). We've all spent the last couple years trying to navigate a paradigm shift, and that stress and pressure comes out in unexpected moments. I don't know about you, but it seems like folks get more angry over less, or go to great lengths to let everyone know they're mad. Hopefully, we can all step back, realize that everyone around us is trying hard. Let's all wave at the guy or gal who's worked a 30 hour shift to clear the snow for everyone else, missed Christmas with their family or their annual new years party to help our neighbors out. Or, better yet, thank those people out shoveling. It's super hard work, and often times thankless. We are all human; a simple smile and wave, lending a hand, and a "have a good day" are good for them - and us. We get how good it feels to tell someone off - but after 25 years of hard work and several Best of Flag awards (including this year) being called a childish name stings, so you may have reached your goal. However, if you are game to work with us, give us a shout and a shot to develop a plan that works better for you and your property. We really are sorry snow fell off the edge of the plow and left a berm by your car. We try to get things as clear as possible but for most of us who've run a plow, we've accidentally hit cars trying for perfect in a situation just like yours: a nice car, parked by a snow pile, in the poor visibility of the passenger side of the truck. We've learned that while a berm is inconvenient, it is not permanent, but crashing into a car while trying to police it up is both permanent and inconvenient.

These folks are great! Our previous provider was disorganized and unresponsive. Even though they were extremely busy they got us in the schedule. Greg came by Friday afternoon and turned the system on and checked all the heads. Things are great now and our plants, flowers etc.are now blooming instead of dieing. Thanks so much to Morning Dew Landscaping!! We now our a permanent customer.

I can't even give them 1 star. I called them 3 months ago for a leak in the irrigation system and came to my house and fixed what they thought was the problem and didn't consult me at all what they fixed, then sent a bill for $350. 3 Months later we still have a leak. I have been trying to call them for the past 3 days and no return phone call. Their customer service is non-existent and I would guess they won't warranty their work. This is my first Yelp review and I want to make sure NO ONE has this experience. There is another company in town who got right back to me and is coming over right away due to the fact that they are professional and care about the community they are providing business in.
