Our original shop is Mitchell’s Small Engine Supply, Inc located in Greenville, MS opened in 2000. In 2005 my father, Bobby Mitchell, decided to open up a secondary location in Ridgeland off of Hwy 51 on Christopher Cove. In 2010, we were able to move to our current location on Lake Harbour Drive. Over the past 35 years we have provided an outdoor power equipment sales and service center for both delta and metro areas. Being a single family-owned small business, we are thanful for each and every one of our customers! God Bless and thank you!

Mitchell’s Small Engine Supply, Inc. (MSE) was opened in June of 2000. Our original location was 133 South Harvey Street, a 2,500 square foot duplex, in downtown Greenville, MS. After business expanded, we relocated right around the corner to our current location. We were fortunate enough to get the old Gil Worth Tire Company, Inc. building at 821 Washington Avenue. This building fit our needs perfectly by giving us more storage, a bigger showroom, and bigger shop space. It has been our pleasure to provide a small engine sales and service center to the Ark-La-Miss area. Being a single family-owned small business, we are thankful for every one of our customers! We made the decision to open a second location in 2005. Mitchell’s Outdoor Power Equipment, LLC (MOPE) opened shop at 280 Christopher Cove in Ridgeland, MS. We rented Suites C and D which combined for 2,500 square feet. As the Metro area continued growing, so did our business. Which led to us needing a bigger location. After months of searching to find the right location, we were able to purchase Smith’s Marine building at 812 Lake Harbour Drive. Since moving to this location, we have been able to expand and grow as a business. At each location we carry Bad Boy Mowers, Snapper, Snapper Pro, Echo, Shindaiwa, and Stihl equipment. We are an authorized Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki, and Honda Dealer. We offer a full-service repair shop for any piece of outdoor power equipment. However, we cater to customers that shop with us over customers that shop elsewhere. We also try our best to keep commercial crews up and running because it is their livelihood. We stock parts for the brands that we carry, and stock parts for the brands that we don’t. Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for all outdoor power equipment needs. Thank you for your business and God Bless!

Mitchell’s Outdoor Power Equipment I would first like to say before I begin my review that there is no family relationship, i.e., the last name. I decided to start a small lawn maintenance business after thinking about it for years. I had shopped around both online and in various dealers’ stores, watched many hours of product review videos, and finally decided on the brand of equipment for my business needs. I really like the Bad Boy series mowers both in cut quality and in terms of lasting power for years of cutting with minimal upkeep. I called Mitchell's Outdoor Power Equipment in Ridgeland, MS., confirmed they were a Bad Boy Dealer and had the equipment I was interested in purchasing. I pulled up and Brandon Mitchell 'Owner' of Mitchell's Outdoor Power Equipment was out the front door quickly and introduced himself, asking what he could help me with. I told him I had called, and it was him I had spoken with earlier in the day and he remembered our conversation. I explained to Brandon that I was starting a new lawn care maintenance business and that I didn't have any experience whatsoever with Zero Turn Mowers and or Stand-On Mowers. Brandon answered every question I could think of and then a few more. There were a couple of times where he looked something up that he didn't know the answer to and as a former teacher that was perfectly fine with me showing me that he was there to help and not BS me and there for a quick buck. I really appreciated that he did this and instantly made me a fan of Mitchell's Outdoor Power Equipment. I was able to meet Bobby, the father and owner who was a walking encyclopedia of the lawn maintenance business and products that his family has sold for the past 30 years. When a man tells you that his family has been in business for 30 years and he says what you see are the only brands I'll carry/sell, well, hopefully you're listening and you ask questions knowing that you are getting good information. At this point, Brandon had probably spent 30 minutes maybe more with me and I probably talked to him and his father Bobby for another half hour. I asked questions about equipment maintenance and service for all the equipment they quoted me on and I was feeling really comfortable at this point in time moving forward with the purchase. I had been researching on and off since moving back to MS in March 2020 diligently and after spending time with the Mitchell Family, again, no relation, felt like if I ran into issues while starting my business that I could depend on them as well as their crew of mechanics to take care of me. Exceeded Google Character limit for reviews. If interested, I'll be posting the rest of the review on their FB page Mitchell's Outdoor Power Equipment.
