  Get anything in writing at this business. A perfect example of a bad mom and pop business. I'd say they probably give mom and pop stores a bad name. I took my push lawnmower in, 25 mile trip, and told the man I needed a new carburetor installed. He said he could fix the old one and charged me $25 and it wasn't even close to being repaired. Took mower back to him, another 25 mile trip, and he refused to meet me halfway on the charges. Even told me the mower could not be repaired,, was wore out. Caught him in that lie later. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he could have said that because of pure incompetence. Either way, shoddy work I got at a $25 scalping. Frustrated I took mower home and immediately ordered, by phone, a brand spanking new $13 Honda OEM carb, and $3 gaskets from Plano Equipment (great folks to deal with) in Plano TX. I installed carb myself in 15 minutes and the mower started on first pull and ran perfectly. I have since ran it about 15-20 hours since new carb DIY install and still runs like a new mower. Always starts on first pull. (5.5 HP Honda Engine) Rule #1, do not run ethanol gas in any small engine. Of course the mower repair shops won't tell you that, that is probably half their business, gunked up, varnished, carbs, since ethanol was added to most gasoline by order of US Govt a few years back.
