  I want to start off by saying that the initial experience of meeting Roger was great. He was very friendly and offered great advice on how he thought we should take care of our lawn, so I'm a bit upset that I have to write this review. It has been almost a full month since the initial visit from Roger and I have not heard a single word from anyone at McCarthy's despite leaving numerous voicemails, and follow-up emails. The original timeline that was told to me was that he would have a quote for us in a week. I thought it was a bit long for an estimate, but he was really nice and offered good advice, so I didn't have a problem. Fast forward to today, nearly 4 weeks after, and they have yet to make any contact back. I understand this is probably a busy time for them, but I contacted a few other landscapers locally, and had quotes within 24 hours. I really wanted to like them because I see their work around our neighborhood, but the lack of responsiveness is incredibly unprofessional and ultimately a deal breaker.

  We initially called in March/April of 2019. Scheduled McCarthy's to come put a french drain in our back yard. Months went by without word from them. We had to call several times to see when they were actually coming. They ended up showing up months later in July. They were upfront in saying, the french drain could not make our issue 100% go away BUT could improve our problem. Fall of 2019- the french drain actually made our problem WORSE. We called them back SEVERAL times. April of 2020-Finally, got them to come back. They said they would come back and make adjustments. No word back from them. Its now, April 2021. A ton of calls to them throughout 2020 and nothing back. $5,000 and 2 years later our back yard is worse than when we started.
