  Our family used Maverick Pumping for years (septic tank pumping and holding tank filter cleaning) and was satisfied until yesterday. My satisfaction plummeted radically when I called about our septic holding tank contents coming up through our basement floor drain (again). This same thing happened a few years ago and Maverick said it was because holding tank filter got clogged. Maverick offered to clean the holding tank filter every six months for $45 and we contracted with them to perform this service. All was fine the past few years - until yesterday. When I called Maverick, a polite lady said that although our records showed that we were to have the filter cleaned every six months, the last cleaning was in April 2021. Yesterday was December 18, 2021 (two months past our scheduled cleanout). The lady also informed me that she had an employee in the area who could stop by and maybe pump some water from the tank and clean the filter for $145. I told her that I was not going to pay Maverick three times what it cost to do the job they were contracted to do and failed to do back in October. The lady offered no "remedy" for their failure to do what we contracted for, no reduction in filter cleaning price, not even an "I'm sorry we didn't do our job and that you have feces coming up in your basement . . ." LIFE LESSON LEARNED: If you think that septic tank service is something that you could contract with any service provider and expect to receive a quality service, I'm here to inform you that you are probably deeply mistaken (especially if that service provider is Maverick). I just thought I'd inform others of what they could expect when dealing with Maverick Pumping Service. I can also tell you (speaking as Chairman of my parish Building and Grounds Committee) that Maverick will no longer be providing any further services to my church. Life is just too short to intentionally cause pain to one's self.

  Hello Leo, We at Maverick Pumping Service truly apologize for our handling of your emergency service call on Saturday and regret the fact that our team neglected to call you in a timely manner to schedule your 6 month filter cleaning. Though we make every effort to schedule services timely, there is no excuse for us missing your filter cleaning, which most likely caused your tank to back up.   Super friendly driver let the kids watch and ask questions while he pumped ourseptic tank. He even gave them both a septic truck shaped magnet that they loved! Very professional , would highly recommend
