  Compost buyers beware. Unfortunately, according to my experience the supplier of horse manuer in the compost I purchased from Maskes last year likely contains aminopyraline, an herbicide designed to inhibit broadleaf growth in grazing pastures. All 29 of the tomato plants treated with the compost last year exibited deformed growth and mosaic shaped leafs that never opened. Im not harvesting fruits from dedormed plants. Now trying to remove tainted soil.

  Our compost does not have manure in it. It also does not have any chemicals in it. Tomato plants are not even doing anything right now as far as making fruit.
