  Malczewski's employment practices are highly unscrupulous. They are so worried about losing staff that they require all employees to sign an agreement stating they will not "entice" existing personnel to a new employer if one of them leaves. They threaten litigation with a fine of $10,000 if violated. Only a truly terrible employer would be this insecure to include such a ridiculous (and unenforceable) stipulation in their employment agreement.

  I had Malczewski's come out and build a retaining wall for a hill I had some steps on. They were by far the best value and the nicest to work with. (I had 1 guy quote me for more than double what Malczewski's charged me. And I had another guy talk down to me because I didn't just do the work myself - really crazy. None of that nonsense with Malczewski's.) They got the project done in under a day and it looked great! It rained a little and I noticed the wall needed to be extended a little so I contacted them and they came right out and took care of it. I do recommend them for your next project.

  We had Malczewski's come out and give us a price to dig out old plants and plant some brushes and put down 2-3 inches of mulch and also shorten a flower bed back to grass. They did a good job on digging out the old flowers and plants and replanting some brushes. But when a came to the mulch they did not put down 2-3 inches of mulch as it said in the contract, it was more like one inch, the first rain we had washed the mulch away, the mulch itself was more DIRT then mulch as it sunk into the ground when it rained.And for them to shorten the flower bed and plant grass seed NO GRASS just weed, We called a couple of times before anyone can out. When they came out the owner said they under ESTIMATED the mulch and it would cost more money to get the 2-3 inches and as far as the grass they would sent someone out to reseed it WELL it has been over two MONTHS AND NO ONE HAS BEEN HER TO RESEED. The only good thing was the worker worked hard and was very understanding. We were very DISAPPOINTED in this company and feel they should have honored they contract with the 2-3 inches of mulch.
