Great resource. Found so much more variety at this landscaping supply store than you could ever find at Home Depot. I was looking specifically for annual rye seed to plant in my garden this fall as a cover crop. I called around to about 4 independent stores plus Menard’s and nobody had an idea where I could find the stuff. This place knew and had it. Super useful.

Small, family owned. Knowledgeable staff. Everything you need for lawn and garden projects. It's always fun to check out all the neat things they have.

Service people are a little rough around the edges, but mean well. They have been around for decades and always have what I need. Firewood,  small engine repair, garden/landscape materials. Great place!

Great place for a variety of garden supplies. They specialize in landscaper supplies so the selection for retail business may seem limited. However, the quality of the plant material is superior to other garden centers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, its a place to shop.

Well, I found cocoa mulch at Klier's. When I told them that Bachman's had said no one had cocoa mulch and wouldn't have it this year, Klier's increased the price of it right then.

Does anyone else find these worker bees to be a little... Annoyed with customers?

Small place packed full of almost everything you could want for your garden. An amazing selection of professional grade landscaping tools also.

Needed some mulch. Gave them the measurements of my house and they said 15 yards. I said that sounded like too much and cut it to 10. It was still way too much. Bottom line, they should know how much mulch is needed. They over sold me so they could get a couple hundred dollars more in their pocket. I'll NEVER go there again!

I went to Klier's to buy firewood this month (January 2020).

I bought 1/6 of a cord for 91$.

The firewood was very poor quality ( wet, some rot etc).

It will burn and I am not going to go through the hassle of returning the firewood that I transported and stacked at my home.

I cant speak for the quality of their more typical nursery product offering but the firewood is certainly poor quality.

Rude staff and deceptive pricing. I dropped off my lawn mower for a tune up and was told it would cost $85. That is expensive for a tune up but I was there so we went ahead with it. They wanted $30 up front that was deducted from the final bill. When we went to pick it up they said the total was $78.48. I told them I had already paid $30 and that couldn't be correct. They charged us an additional $12.08 for spark plugs and an air filter, $6 for grease, and $4 for disposing of the old oil. Grand total after tax:  $108.48 for a tune up. If I was made aware of the additional $20 or even given the option to say no before they went ahead and did it I wouldn't be so angry but I feel Pretty deceived and the staff was rude to boot when I said I was told the price would be $85 and was unhappy about the additional $23 in charges. I won't be returning. It looks like for that price I could have had someone pick up my mower from my home, service it, and return it to my house.

They advertise snow blower/small engine repair, so I rented a trailer and took our snow blower to be looked at; two guys checked for spark and there was none; they agreed the machine would need a new ‘electrical part’, but they couldn’t get one, so they referred me to a company that specializes in electrical systems.

A mechanically savvy neighbor looked at it for 5-10 minutes and it started right up...

The issue - a small metal part wasn’t touching what it it should have, so he bent it - that simple.

Klier’s may want to focus on Nursery & Garden or training for their small engine repair team.
