I have read some reviews for this local business and I was a bit uncertain. Well now for the last few years I have used their service for maintenance and repair of my push mower, riding mower and chain saw and everything was outstanding. We are all human and we all have our bad days. It is the attitude one brings to a store of any kind and being human one may get the same attitude right back at ya. Contrary to popular belief the Customer in NOT always right. It is always the few that makes things a little rougher for the rest.

I don’t write “Thank You” notes very often, but I feel this exceptional customer service warrants it. It is 10:30 am on August 16th, 2021 and I just returned home from a quick visit to the Madison Lawn Center. I was a bit apprehensive about going there initially due to some, what I believe, bogus low reviews of 1 or 2. My experience was outstanding. I brought in my edger that wouldn’t start and the gentleman there quickly realized it was not even properly aligned. He very quickly aligned it and identified that the new spark plug was not properly gapped and corrected it. He did all of this in the span of 5 minutes right in front of me. I went there with the understanding that I would need to put $20 down for an estimate or down payment on needed repair work, but the gentleman there said that there was no charge. I just want to say “Thank You!” You so rarely receive that kind of professionalism these days and I hope the management and/or Owner realizes the exceptional individual they had working there this morning. I will definitely bring all my future small engine repair needs to Madison Lawn Center in the future. This is not because I wasn’t charged anything during this visit, but because this gentleman’s actions clearly reflected the stellar professionalism of this business. Once again, “Thank You!” for making my day!

Bottom Line Up Front: Ask what their return policy is! Tough lesson learned. Purchased a 58V battery powered Echo trimmer, edger attachment, and blower attachment. They registered it for me before leaving. I got the blower home and tried it out. Was not satisfied with the performance so took it back in perfect condition (used for maybe 10 minutes) and asked for a refund. Was promptly told that it cannot be returned because it was registered. I said "OK" and turned away and walked out. I was surprised to say the least because I had never experienced that before and certainly wasn't told that registered products couldn't be returned. Maybe that's why they registered it for me, not sure. Anyway, I called Echo to determine what, if any, recourse I had. Echo told me that dealers handle their own return policies, and so I am stuck with the product and they can't do anything about it. I will no longer give my business to Madison Lawn Center or Echo.
