Diane at Customer Service is the best! She wasn't there when my wife and I came this last time though. We just wanted it to be known how GREAT she is and of all the countless times she has been there for us providing excellent service. She has even helped us when management wasn't able to. She knew what to do and exactly how to do it. So we just want to send out a huge THANK YOU to Diane for always going above and beyond. Thank you for doing an excellent job Diane!!! It was very busy, and all the aisles were blocked by customers and equipment. I was I a hurry and getting very frustrated. But the cashier was smiling and pleasant and talkative. She made the whole experience a good one. Customer service goes a long way. I think it is mostly forgotten these days. Not there.

Not the best experience yesterday. The lady at the paint counter was pretty rude. I searched for months for a paint color that worked well in our home. After research, found out you can have paint colors lightened. I requested that, and apparently this did not make the lady happy. There was another gentleman at the paint center that knew the computer system well, and was able to mix what I needed. He was very easy to talk to, and helped me pick the right percentage to lighten the paint. The lady said, "you're gonna have to work with him, since ya'll like to mess up paint colors". Her communication and customer service skills were completely absent. While I was talking to the gentleman about the lighter paint ratio, he asked what kind of paint I had chosen, and the woman loudly said from the background, "I don't know - she won't tell me". I had no problem picking the type of paint and telling her, but I was around the corner talking to the gentleman about the paint ratios. I am trying to get right with Jesus, but she was making it easy to ask for forgiveness later. My 6 or 7 minutes working with her were miserable. I feel bad for people that work with her all day! I checked myself out, and on my way out, I said loud enough to hear, "have a great day!" to the 2 women standing at the end of the self checkout, and they just looked at me. All I'm asking for is a little customer service. I left thinking...I should've went to Ace. There were good experiences, don't get me wrong...but then there were not.
