It was well stocked, friendly staff, some nice decor items, and open an hour later than Home Depot. But I can say across the board everything from shims to spray paint was consistently higher prices than Home Depot and Walmart. Their stock of spray paint was awful, not one can of flat white? Is this America? Smart Home products are severely lacking as well as trained staff when I was looking for a motion detector. (But likely the same knowledge level you will find at most anywhere) ... The thing that irked me and makes the star level so low is 2 items I bought were completely mislabeled in their price - 4 tiny wood appliques in the clearance section were labeled 39 cents came out to be $6.99 and a drop cloth with MANY price labels under $10 (which was the only reason I picked it up) turned out to be like $24, so my bill was twice what I thought it would be. When I saw this I said "wait, this isn't right, these are labeled ..." And in target they would either fix the price right at the register or take it off the bill and let you leave without purchase. I had to go to customer service and process a return. They do have some beautiful stuff, it is pleasant inside, but I think they could work on that checkout process. Maybe allow people to return things at the register if they labeled the price incorrectly (or the "bulk price" was the only price I saw because it was grossly overwhelmed with the bulk price) maybe it was just a tired cashier.... Tired of dealing with people who mistake the bulk price for the actual price prolly hah

We ordered a Bosch dishwasher from Lowe's in November 2021. The installation experience has been a nightmare. We have dealt with the installation company, Lowe's Corporate, and the folks at the Lowe's store in Saratoga Springs. We have been extremely patient, and while I do not doubt that the folks we have been dealing with have been trying in good faith to resolve our issues, at the end everything is a mess of finger pointing and no one taking responsibility. We started this journey with an aging but functional dishwasher, but have now paid for 2 dishwashers plus installation and only have a damaged dishwasher and new damage to our cabinets and granite countertops. More details below, but the upshot is to AVOID USING LOWES AT ALL COSTS FOR YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT/APPLIANCE INSTALLATION PROJECT. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher in November, and paid a couple hundred dollars extra for installation. In early December, the installation company arrived at our house with the new dishwasher, disposed of our old dishwasher, and installed the new one. The next day, I noticed some unusual scratches on the top control panel (particularly near the start button) and noticed that the start button did not work consistently. Pictures of the scratches are attached (Image 1 and 2). I looked at the installation manual and realized that the dishwasher had been improperly installed. The manual (see Image 3) makes clear that the dishwasher should not top mounted into granite countertops - side mounts should be used (our old dishwasher was side mounted). By installing the top mount screws into the granite counters, the screws dug into the control panel and damaged the buttons. I learned that granite counters do not like to be drilled into so there may be damage when the screws are removed. Lowe's corporate said a new dishwasher would be provided. A few weeks later we received an appointment from the installation company. It was during the week around the time my kids get home from school, so we made arrangements to have the kids out of the house (this was around the time the Omicron covid variant was running rampant in late December). The installers were supposed to arrive between 2 and 5, but 7pm rolled around and they never showed. A few weeks later we received another appointment. Thinking we would be receiving our working dishwasher we cleared our schedule. The installers showed up (no call), looked at the dishwasher, then left. Lowe's corporate contacted us again and told us the dishwasher was unavailable and we would need to contact our local Lowe's store to select a replacement. I called the store and explained that the reason we went with Lowe's in the first place was because they had this particular Bosch dishwasher, and they indicated it would be a couple of months before they could obtain a replacement. Working through the appliance lead Steve and managers Michelle, Becky, and Billie, we agreed to wait for the new dishwasher to become available. The installers randomly showed up at our door again a few weeks later unannounced at 8am on a Saturday morning, wanting to take yet another look at the dishwasher. We did not let them in the house. A few weeks later, Steve called and indicated that the dishwasher was back in stock, but that we would need to place a new order on our credit card, but that the original order would be refunded when the installation was complete, so we placed the order. We received an appointment from the installers for March 5. It seemed like the end was in sight at last. March 5th was today. The installers called last night indicating they would be here between 2 and 5. At 5:15, I called the dispatcher asking for an updated ETA - they were unable to reach the installers or provide an ETA. At 8pm, during my family movie night, the installers rang our doorbell without calling first. They did not have a replacement dishwasher, but wanted to take pictures. It seems we are no closer to a resolution. This has been a nightmare, and it seems like no one at Lowe's gives a rip.

Selection is stale, in the lighting section today All of the boxes were covered in dust, covered absolutely disgusting... Dickensian even, this place would do lady Havisham proud. The person working there, training someone, was not very knowledgeable. Friendly and willing, but couldn't give definitive answers. I guess I'll try elsewhere.
