So I go to return some curtains that I bought on Friday February 28th at 1010am and I was being "helped" by Veronica at returns. I walk up and hand her my curtains and she scans them. She asks are these from here. I say yes and that I have a receipt, as I proceed to look up my online receipt. She says they're not in the system, are you sure you got them here and not at Home Depot. I say, yes I'm looking up the receipt right now for you. She then proceeded to claim that maybe I just made a mistake and went to the wrong store as I'm still finding my receipt. I locate the receipt and show it to her. That's when she realized that it was a special order. But it was too late, she treated me like I was screwing up and I didn't even show her a receipt! Now I work in customer service so I understand that people can be rude. But I wasn't that person, I had a receipt and was trying to locate it when she kept being more increasingly rude. I then proceeded to give her a lesson in proper customer service. I told her that I understand that there are people that don't have receipts or the card that they purchased the item with, but you can't just dismiss me immediately when I'm not being rude and getting the receipt. I shouldn't be training their employees on how to treat customers. Utter ridiculous, be careful if you're being helped by Veronica in returns.

I know it's not your fault but the empty shelves and spaces is NOT cool... As long as you allow mask/vaccine mandates this will be the new norm

Kevin saved the day. The service at Lowes is usually lacking at best and downright rude today. The women at the service desk are in need of training. Kevin offered to help after I waited for 15 minutes after asking at the service desk. He made a $700 sale for his employer and earned my respect by the way he handled an annoyed customer. Well done đź‘Ť
