I have used Louis Lawn Service for approximately 2 months and have been pleased with their work thus far. When the crew is here they are respectful, friendly and do the work in a timely manner. Mike always answers me quickly if I have a question and never fails to contact me to see if I was pleased with the service once it is completed. Additionally, he will address any concerns I might have. There was one time where I thought the grass looked somewhat choppy in one area but this actually was not the case and Mike suggested I may like for them to change the level the grass was cut at...he was correct - it was changed and it looked much better. Please note, I very rarely give a five star review on anything, mainly because I have always felt that no one situation is perfect. You can always improve on something...this goes for the service provider as well as myself. I think Mike and his team do a very good job, they are respectful and reasonable in their pricing. In a city where landscapers are a dime a dozen, to find one that is good, honest and shows up is rare. Louis Lawn falls in that category. I would recommend them and think you will be pleased if you give them a try ... I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Had good service for many months. New employees were added to the roster who lack work ethic and respect. Had an issue with the completed work the last few times, owner sent the guys back to “fix” it and were supposed to speak with us about the complaints.. guys show up, stand around the truck and barely touch a weedeater for a few minutes, fix one patch of grass that was left uncut under a pool float, then take off. My girlfriend and I proceed to walk outside and as they’re passing back by to leave they decide to stop because they noticed us outside. Two guys walk up to us, my girlfriend attempts to lighten the mood by engaging in conversation about the hack job they did with a joke and one of the employees immediately gets an attitude with her, makes multiple excuses for shoddy work, is rude as hell to my girlfriend (who is 8 1/2 months pregnant, mind you), makes more excuses for why he isn’t going to fix the issues with the yard (uneven patches, areas not even brushed by with a weedeater, etc), catches more of an attitude when told the completed work was not acceptable and nowhere near the quality it was in the past... scoffs when told we were going to speak with the owner about it saying “I don’t care, go ahead”, and then stomps his Oompa Loompa trailer trash self off to the truck to leave in his 3 inch heels bringing his total height to 4’10. Never had issues with the service until the last 3-4 times and it’s all been because of a new group of lazy entitled kids that were recently sent to our home. The owner, after being made aware of the altercation and issues, stated that he was getting “mixed stories” and that it’d probably be in our best interest to find a new lawn care service. Clearly Mike is out for quantity not quality at this point and has a severely degraded perception on quality employees these days. Again, the service from this company was great in the past - quality work, reasonable price, and even respectable employees. The last three or four times, however, it seems this company has no regard for customer service, respect for anyone, any work ethic, and poor attitude to boot. 0/5 - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Let it be known that there are 2 sides to every story and I always try my hardest to make every customer happy. However when I sent my crew back to handle issues you were not happy with they were confronted with profanity, disrespect and name calling. I commend one of my guys for being the better person and getting back into the truck. There was no need for the disrespect, name calling or profanity. This is not the clientele we want to be associated with and I even told you that I was not going to charge you for the past service since you were not satisfied. Also you were serviced on a Tuesday and I received the complaint late Friday afternoon. I told you it may be in your best interest to find another service provider since this happened. I hope you find the provider you are looking for but I have numerous testimonies from other customers who love my crew and brag about how they go above and beyond. There is no need for any of my crew to be treated with disrespect and cussed at. I apologize for not being able to make you Happy.

Started out being very pleased. Mike was super friendly and accommodating. However, the last 3-4 weeks of service my yard has been less than “professionally” done. Contacted Mike after one incident of his workers weed eating around my above ground pool which you think would be common sense to NOT do as that could damage someone’s pool. That issue was corrected. However, then after that initial incident my yard was left with MULTIPLE large patches of uneven grass cut, weed eating not being done and his workers were too lazy to even pick up a pool float and mow under it when before that had never been an issue and another worker was seen moving my lawn chairs so clearly they are taught to move small items to mow. This last service it was completely unacceptable. I contacted Mike and he said he was sending his guys back out to talk to me and correct the issues. His guys pull up and never knock on my door to address me and my unsatisfaction. I could hear them cursing and complaining outside my door. I go outside when they leave 10 minutes later to see if they at least fixed the issues and they fixed two small issues and left the rest and patches as they were. The workers then drive by my house as I am outside looking and acted as if they were going to drive right on by. They stop right past my house and walk up to me. I’m still trying to remain nice and joke with them and ask what the issue is lately and tell them what I was unhappy with. Instead of responding in a polite friendly manner and or professional one, his one worker was immediately rude and had an attitude from the beginning. He made excuses stating he “has his reasons” for not moving a pool float but moving lawn chairs only. Then he changed his story and stated he personally moves all the objects himself yet you can see in the pictures a clear big patch where my pool float was blown out of the pool and sat and was never moved to mow under it. He made excuses that my yard was uneven and the deck couldn’t cut it yet prior to the last few mows and when Mike actually came out himself my yard has never been uneven....just an excuse. He was extremely rude and argumentative and when I said I doubt Mike would agree with work like that he laughed and said “well I know different” and when I stated I would call Mike again he stated “I don’t care, I don’t care” while the other worker stood there laughing and acting like a child saying “ohhh he said he didn’t care.” Mike made my service free but when I stated I don’t mind paying I care about the service he stated he has heard different stories and he hasn’t had any other complaints and defended the horrible job (that I have pictures of) and his workers behavior. So I guess his workers were right to laugh and say they knew better because they knew nothing would be done and that they would be believed over pictures and a customer that has never complained up until recently. Very disappointed with Mike and the service and would not recommend based on how things were handled. It is a situation that could have easily been rectified but I guess letting unprofessional workers run your show and business is more important. Word of advice....just save your money and go somewhere else unless you want rude, trash mouth, unprofessionally dressed, and poor attitude lazy workers on your property. In response to the owners comment. Please do yourselves a favor and look at his fb page reviews to see the original reviews (and pictures) and his response to myself and boyfriend and then look at the response on here...notice a difference?!? It’s called “attempting damage control” knowing google reviews are seen more! Also the service was performed WEDNESDAY...shows how much you are involved with your workers and their schedules (I was home when the service was provided!) The pictures were taken WEDNESDAY after they left minus the ones in the front which were taken 2 days later.
