Ben is very affordable in his pricing with snow plowing. He’s very dependable and stays in touch if he is having any issues with his vehicle and very apologetic if he is unable to get to my plowing right away, which I understand when you have many clients. I was very surprised, very happy and thankful that when I took my dog out this morning, Ben had even shoveled my walkway! He went out of his way, he didn’t have to do that. This is my third year Ben has plowed for me and I just met him the other day! We’ve talked on the phone many times. He’s just as pleasant in person as he is on the phone.

My fiancé and I started reaching out to Ben and his “team” early May 2020 just for a quote. He finally did come out on May 9th. He told us we would have our quote emailed to us more than likely by the end of that night or possibly the next day. He provided a quote along with many other TEXT messages AFTER 9pm. Red flag #1, while at our house for the quote he discussed his divorce and children... odd but okay. We ended up accepting his proposal/estimate the very next day. I started reaching out to him asking when we can anticipate the work getting started, by May 15th he stated “hopefully this week” The next week started May 18th, on May 20th I received another text that he would like to “START next week.” This same date, the 20th he also requested the deposit to be paid through his website. I did just that on the 21st. Not very please with the setup for his online pay as it added almost $500 for “taxes” which we were given a flat rate for the job we had requested. No huge deal, I’ll make it even by paying with check upon completion of service. On Tuesday, May 26th (which is the week he committed to getting started on our lawn install, via text) he texted saying he’d probably start on Thursday as they were predicting cooler temps. In the body of his message he stated Thursday and “possibly Monday” so AGAIN pushing our work out once more. During some of our text communication exchanges, Ben stated he would come by our house Thursday May 28th to have the contract signed. When I checked in with him about coming he said he was caught up at the office and how much he hated office work. He rescheduled us for the next day, Friday May 29th. When I checked in Friday about coming for the contract he said for us to go out and enjoy our family time. So here we are 20 days AFTER coming for the estimate and no true plan for getting the work done, just a bunch of excuses. Meanwhile, other lawn installs were going in all around us! Fast forward to June 1st, we received a text that he was “looking” to install Thursday or Saturday. When I texted him Wednesday asking about the start of the job he replied with “starting tomorrow.” Great, we finally have something definitive. So tomorrow came... I texted Ben what time to expect him and his team at our property to START the work as I had my mother in law there and wanted to keep her informed. Mind you we already paid $3200 for the “down payment” and we are almost a month out of the first meeting for the estimate! And what do you know.... excuses! He stated it was weather forecasted for thunderstorms and he’d start tomorrow (Friday, June 5th). He finally arrived to our property on Friday afternoon. Part of our estimate was a tree removal which Ben assured me he could take care of. Ben arrived in the afternoon and by the time my fiancé and I ran an errand for about 2 hours we came back to find the only work completed was a few limbs off of the tree cut! They were already gone after 3-4 hours! Ben and his team (two guys) did arrive back at the property on Saturday June 6th to continue the work. During this day the work I was witnessing was absolute horrifying! He was removing a tree, at which time he referenced himself as being 6 feet in the ground, with a bob cat! He had one guy in the bucket of the bob cat cutting limbs off in a very haphazardly way. I’d never witnessed anything like it. I will continue my experience on another review! Stay tuned... have to create another account to put the remainder of our experience with Ben!

Ms. Perkins, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. -I'm not sure If you are aware of this, However, at least (3) three other 5 star reviews the company has received Fairly recently pertain directly to work the company performed on your street. -The Company also has several before and after photos of your particular project, because of how nice it came out. In fact if I have your permission, I would like to feature some parts of your lawn on our website. -I have a video also of how nice it looked when it was raining later, after you stopped watering in august. I'm just glad the lawn bounced back after all that fertilizer you put down... 3 Applications... (2) two of your neighbors actually said to me and I quote " what a beautiful job, I have watched how you leveled the yard, I wish we would have called you instead of the guys we hired" -We also.... sorry, to be continued.... Thanks again!
