BEWARE! DO NOT USE! The first picture was provided to us by LawnStarter claiming our grass was 6 inches or longer and they charged us a $25 fee on top of the normal $50 cut fee. As you can clearly see the grass is NOT over 6 inches. The other two pictures show how the company they assigned to us left clumps of grass in one spot and killed our grass. My husband just mowed tonight and in normal mowing situations clumps don’t congregate like that. This company is a middle man and does not actually ever see your yard for themselves. They hire other companies to do the work and take their word for it being done correctly and completely. Their customer service is AWFUL! They do not care about their customers satisfaction. They refuse to refund me $25 for hiring a crew that clearly lies. I filed a complaint with the BBB as well. Please save yourself the headache and aggravation and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Once I read the other reviews, I understand why I’m getting the treatment that I am now.

Worst people to work with ever. I asked for 2 services- weed removal and a quote for sod installation. Somehow, they signed me up for the 3 cut service; fine, I'm getting sod, it will need to be cut. Perfect. NEVER got the quote for sod, only pulled/cut half my weeds, never came back but still charged for three cuts. Do not use. Run, run away. Update: Joey from LawnStarter reached out to address my emails and interactions with their customer service. He listened and actually reviewed my account and instead of making me feel crazy, he actually tried to help. I will say I also ignored his emails for a week because I was so angry about this situation, but he made it a point to make it right. I can appreciate when a company messes up and actually does the work to make it right. I’ll change my rating, to account for the remediation. Thanks Joey!

2022-03-18 - This is my 2nd year using LawnStarter's services. I have been very happy with their work. If/When there is an inability to show up for an appointment I have been notified ahead of time AND re-scheduled at the same time. I am on a fixed income and LawnStarter's charges are very helpful to my ability to stay within my budget. I appreciate their existence and wish them all the best.
