  Luis and his crew took care of a big branch in the backyard today and the yard looks so much better now. They edged the front yard and mowed and it's beautiful. Luis is always professional and gets here when he says he will. Im very happy with the service.

  I think the idea of Lawnstarter is great, but it is being executed very poorly. I ordered service to start on a Friday. The app asked me if I wanted to have my grass cut a day early if it were possible, and I selected no. Then I'm assigned a crew, and I'm told they will be there on Thursday.. so what was the point of me selecting NO on the app?? Anyway, the crew never shows up. I contact customer service and I'm told they have assigned me a new crew. The new crew is supposed to show up on Monday or Tuesday. Crew never shows up, I contact customer service again, and they say i've been rescheduled to have my cut on Friday-Sunday. This time I contact the crew via the app to ask if he's planning to come this time. No response at all, and my grass was not cut yet again. It has now been 2 weeks since my grass is cut. I contact customer support yet again, telling them I'm giving them one last chance to fix this issue before I cancel my service and leave them an honest review. I allowed them another week, constantly given the run around and told I'd be assigned another new crew but I never was. In my opinion, the customer service sounds like they care and want to make things right, but they don't ever follow through to make sure things are fine. Clearly they don't vet the people who are assigned as crews either. I really wanted Lawnstarter to work for me, but it looks like I'll be finding another team to take care of my needs. My best advice to you is stay away from them if you actually need your grass cut on time.

  They showed up one time. After that they rescheduled and then didn’t show up at all. Totally not dependable. Yardwork was barely acceptable the one time they did show up. They took our credit card information and then never showed up again. The So-called “help” line did nothing but say oh we’re really sorry but we can’t do anything about it. I think they are some sort of broker that has no control over what the individual lawn care people do. In any case do not hire them. Do not waste your time you will be disappointed.
