  We have used LawnBoy Lawn services for years for the upkeep of our flower beds and this year we had them install a paver patio and sidewalk with landscape lighting, and had a French drain system installed which resolved a standing water issue in our backyard. They cleaned up the work site every day before leaving and left it looking clean and tidy. They did an outstanding job from the initial project plan; the people hired to complete each step; including their attitudes and work ethic; all the way through to completion; everyone was personable, responsible and capable. We have a phase II project that we are in the process of having quoted that will include the landscaping of our front yard and flower beds. We HIGHLY recommend Lawnboy for any landscaping or upkeep projects.

  We obtained multiple quotes and ultimately awarded LawnBoy Lawn Services the contract for the Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad. We have been thrilled with the changes Dave suggested we make, and we have future beautification plans for the fall! We are immensely pleased that we chose LawnBoy Lawn Services for their professionalism, responsiveness, and quality. We have already recommended their services to others!

  I did not have a good experience and I took it up directly with the owner Dave Nichols. A nice guy but I saw the other review by Pamela and agree with some of her gripe. My plants|shrubs died after 1 week. They replaced some by check, and said they could not replace others due to "wild-life" eating them. I spent over $1200 on landscaping to not be happy. I had another reputable company come by and review, they told me I was overcharged and got very little. I could not and would not recommend this company, regrettably. They need a lot of work on their customer service interface. I will choose more wisely the next time. (SAN).

  We are very sorry your experience with us was disappointing and that you feel we missed the mark regarding your landscape installation warranty. It is always our goal to ensure our clients are pleased with the result of every project. However, there are circumstances that are not in our control. Our 6-month planting warranty covers all plants that have completely died within 6 months of installation. In every case it is imperative that the customer give the plants the proper care once the installation is complete. Special care is needed during hot summer months and drought season. LawnBoy Lawn Services cannot assume liability for replacement of plants/shrubbery that are still alive but are being eaten or damaged by pests, wildlife and insect infestation. Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor a customer’s watering routine of too much or too little. Based on installation history we have lost an average 3-5% of all planted materials over a 6-month period. Your project was the first time we have ever seen a client lose 30% of the plantings within the first week of installation. We did issue a full refund for the cost of all the plants that died on your property via check since you did not wish to have us install the warranty replacements. LawnBoy Lawn Services has been in operation for 15 years and we take much pride in delivering the finest products and services to our customers.
