Awesome group of guys. The experience here is second to none. I regret not purchasing my mower directly from them but I’ll certainly return for the knowledge and parts. Inventory is vast and I doubt they don’t have much in stock.

Not very helpful and no break on prices ever. They had my saw for nine months and would not even return my phone calls. The owner is a nice man and gets things done but Mike in repair is a disaster. It was out of warranty because it was there for months and months. Makita exchanged it.

Hi James,  I'm sorry to hear you don't find us to be helpful, especially after we replaced your out-of-warranty equipment for no charge.

They are the best around they found my part for my Z master 0 turn. Whenever the  Actual Toro place couldn't find it.ill be going there for alots of my tools

Drove 50 minutes to go look at a lawn mower that is listed in their current inventory , just to get there and have them say that they don't have it and probably won't until sometime in December. They didn't apologize or anything for it still being listed in their current inventory . You would think that they would remove it from their current inventory. They have 7 lawn mowers from Grasshopper listed in their current inventory and they actually only have 2 of the smaller mowers in their inventory. Cost me almost 2 hours of drive time to get there and back home. I wont go back .

I am sorry for your inconvenience, however, it would be a good idea to call before driving any length of time for any retail store.  Our inventory changes daily.  We have many customers who understand the problem with immediate availability and will put money down on units that will be coming in.

I took lawnmower blades in to be  sharpened. Every time I do, they have gone up in price. $9.00 to sharpen a blade Is a bit much.

I bought a riding mower in a different city and John Deere told me to come here to have it serviced. They wouldn’t help me because i didn’t buy from them. I told the owner I need another mower and an edger would he reconsider and he arrogantly said he didn’t care. These peopleo don’t need or want your business. Go elsewhere.

In response to the rebuttal below… your service manager acted like he had the authority to make the decision. I told him that i needed other equipment and would be buying it at the other store he was sending me to and he said he didn’t care. Given that he made that decision I assumed he was the owner. John Deere told me they had never heard of a dealer of theirs refusing to do warranty work for their customers.

NOT TRUE, Mr. Roberts I'm the Owner & you and I have never spoke. I did not say those things to you, and you know it. You told my service Manager you purchase your mower at Lowes. We explained we only service equipment & customers who purchase their equipment here. After 34 years in business, we have had the same policy. If service is important to you, I would recommend buying from a servicing dealer rather than a hardware store.

We really like this place! We came here for something in particular once and saw what a great price they have on dog food and now we're regular customers :) The owner is really nice and very helpful. We have a good experience every time we come in.

I bought a $6k mower here and paid with a debit card. I was thinking I was getting the discounted price for "paying with cash". I was charged $250 more (the price that is charged for financing the mower). I was under the impression that if I paid in full I would be given the discount.

Even after calling up there and explaining the situation, they still told me they couldn't give me the discount unless I "cancel the charge, get a refund, and hand them cash instead".

This is deception and I won't be spending my money here any more.

The repair service is also super expensive, and the turnaround time is pretty long.

I own a tree service and i have been a customer here for sometime now. This past memorial day i was in an accident and placed in a wheelchair. I needed to go in the store and i realize there is no wheelchair access. I would think being ADA friendly would be a goal of a business owner but guess not.

The current service counter has become intolerable and rude. Twice I asked to order a simple rider plate for a forest saw an both times it was ordered wrong.  Past staff were helpful but current staff are just plain rude.

It’s sad since they are a close Stihl dealer and I do own a lot of Stihl equipment but I am now willing to drive to Richardson Saw and Mower to receive polite professional service.

I went today in a pinch to buy some chains and that was just the last time.

I brought in my zero turn mower and my push mower into Lawn-Land today for my yearly service.  The estimate paper the service manager gave me this morning stated $49. Additionally, if the total price surpassed $150, they would call me for approval.  When I arrived this afternoon to pick up my mowers, the bill showed $377.  I asked the manager about not receiving the exceeding $150 approval call. He said, “oh that was my bad”. Then we had a long awkward pause.  I walked out the service department and found the owner. He looked at me very annoyed and said, “what do you want me to do about it?”  I showed him the $150 threshold on my estimate. He grabbed my estimate and my bill, and took it to the service manager.  They talked privately for a moment. The service manager came to me and explained that they will physically remove the new blades they just installed and put the old ones back on.  Then, they will comp some of the costs to get below the $150 threshold.  When they rang up my comped credit amount, they had to ask the owner for approval.  Again he looked outwardly perturbed. He snipped at the manager and asked him what exactly he was crediting back.  After he had completed the credit, he looked at the service manager and said “when your done you need to come see me.”  Today was an absolute train wreck. I am beyond disappointed with Lawn-Land’s customer service, and their inflated service costs.  I will not be back.
