  We did not have a good experience with Lawn Doctor. Our grass died after several treatments. He said it is just the summer heat and refused to make any adjustments. I had landscapers and sprinkler technicians come to assess and they both said it looks like the fertilizer was too harsh. We have sprinkler system and water often so there is no reason for grass to burn the way it did. Everytime we reach out to the owner, he does not respond. It takes 3-4 calls to get him on the phone. I got too tired of trying to chase. Grass died and I will be moving to a new service provider. I wish I can post photos here. We will be spending money to aerate and reseed. The owner did not even offer this as an option or even remotely acknowledge any responsibility Go somewhere else.

  Good morning! I remember your lawn very well, and the concerns you had at that time. Filling in the blanks, Your lawn was watered excessively, through both irrigation and rainfall. Couple that with high humidity and heat stress that is always an issue in the summer months, your lawn developed a couple of different fungus issues. Brown patch fungus in tall fescue, and dollar spot fungus are the two that damaged your turf. Once these diseases took over, they made your lawn vulnerable to the crabgrass that took over in these diseases and damaged areas. In many cases those two fungus issues recover with cooler temps and low humidity. When I’d recommended a seed and aeration, the cost was too high for your budget at that time. I hope things recovered well for you, and you are receiving good service. My phone number rings right to my cell phone, I forward all calls in an effort to try not to miss anyone’s calls.   Fantastic company. I've dealt with a few different lawn care companies in the past and Lawn Doctor of Wilmington is by far the best. The owner Mike is extremely knowledgeable. He has gotten my lawn in shape and looking exactly how I wanted. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of lawn care.

  My shrubs all were infected with spider mites. They diagnosed the issue and set me up on a plan to have multiple treatments each year that are also very reasonably priced. The shrubs all look great now and I have no issues at all! These guys are great!
