Excellent customer service, honest prices, and quality work. I hired the team at Lavallee to install a Kohler backup generator and some exterior outlets. They went above and beyond to source the generator when other companies I contacted wouldn’t due to extreme demand nationwide. The process was as seamless as it could have been, and the install is fantastic. They know what they are doing, and it shows in the quality of their work. Everyone who has worked on my home has been professional and courteous. I highly recommend the team at Lavallee for any of your electrician needs in central Mississippi- big or small. Lavallee is a well-run, local company which will have my business for many years to come.

I contacted Lavallee to obtain an estimate for installing an EV charging outlet. Initially they were very professional. They scheduled an appointment from 1-3 PM on a Tuesday afternoon. By 3:30 no one had been by and I had received no phone call or email. I called their office and left a message. I received a call back promptly stating that they were running behind. They stated they had tried to call me but had the wrong number on file. They asked if it was okay for the technician to come by between 5-5:30 PM. I respond that I get it, things happen, and that’s okay. It is now 8 PM and no technician, no phone call, no email. I expect they will call in the morning but I feel this is highly unprofessional. They obviously have my number now, how hard is it to call and say “I’m sorry, we can’t get to you today. Can we reschedule?” Update: The next morning Paul called personally to apologize. He showed a lot of humility and express a desire to make things right. We have rescheduled and will see how things go.

Lavallee Elect. scheduled an appt for 7:30am to come look at an attic fan that was squealing. The tech did not show up until 8:15 and then sat out in his van with a co-worker for I don't know how long cause I left at 8:30 already late for work . A friend stayed at the house to let the tech in. The tech replaced the attic fan. I was sent an invoice by email later - the invoice had a scratch signature for Customer Authorization which was neither mine nor my friend's. Not that my friend or I wouldn't have signed it, but we were never asked to. It had a second scratch signature which I did not sign in a section that said "I have been given the opportunity to address concerns and/or discrepancies in the work provided, and I either have no such concerns or have found no discrepancies or they have been addressed to my satisfaction..." That I probably would not have signed - at least at that moment. I did give them permission thru my friend to replace the fan. I was charged $465 (plus $125 labor) for the fan. Labor cost seemed reasonable but $465 seemed a bit much for an attic fan, but maybe attic fans are more expensive than I knew. I don't mind paying for the work done. But the whole experience, including signing my signature in not one but two places, seemed very unprofessional. Update on this review - Lavallee contacted me and was very apologetic and expressed that this is not the kind of service they strive to provide. The were very gracious and made every effort to make things right.
