So far we have been very impressed! We reached out to ask for a quote, and someone was out to the house within a day or two. They did a survey of the lawn and left their impressions with a quote on our front door. No huge sales pitch, no “required one on one meeting”, we were already very happy with our experience (compared to Tru Green and The Weed Man). We took at look at the quote, which was detailed and professional, and were excited that the price was very reasonable for our 63k sq. ft. lot. Today was our first application (a weed control and fertilizer since we’ve started late), and the technician took great care to maximizing the coverage. He left behind a detailed invoice that described the work he had done, down to the concentration of the various products he was using. We will update our review as time goes on, we get the additional applications, and our lawn starts to improve. So far, we are thrilled with the responsiveness of the company, and the individual performance of our technician. We are very very excited to see how our lawn performs!

Great service! We have used them for the past 2020 season for a spring/summer/fall plan, along with fall aeration. We looked for an alternative for TruGreen, who let us down. I’m glad we contacted Keyman. They have been helpful, always answer the phone, and keep our lawn green! The little things are done right too: such as blowing off the sidewalk after performing aeration (thanks!). Would recommend to anyone wanting quality lawn service.

They’re still in business because nobody pays any attention to what they actually do. My wife and I watched a lawn treatment today, and we were surprised to see how little the technician actually sprayed on the lawn -- probably less than 25% coverage. The guy was out of here in 15 minutes (and we have a huge lawn), so we felt a little annoyed that we were just charged $90 for frankly very little. I called the Keyman “office manager” and voiced my concern about the sprayer being used so little. Before I was allowed to finish, she said “Sir, once the sprayer is turned on, it stays on the whole time until they are done, then they turn it off”. I told her but my wife and I saw it with our own eyes, and that’s certainly not what happened. Before I was done speaking, she interrupted to ask who our technician was (per invoice left on the door). I told her, and her next response was “well, he’s a senior tech -- one of our best”. After feeling she was calling the veracity of our concerns into question, I then told her about additional concerns: 1) the tech clearly didn’t roll over all the yard, 2) he didn’t bother to move a wheelbarrow to treat that area, and 3) the limited spraying and coverage we witnessed might explain why earlier broad leaf weeds have not diminished after our first treatment. When I was done, there was some delay, and then she came back on the phone and told me while I was talking, she went ahead and called her technician to discuss what happened. She literally ignored me, and didn’t bother telling me she was not even on the phone. This really irritated me. Next she told me her tech said “no, they don’t spray all the grass, they only spray where the weeds are”. This of course contradicted her earlier BS assertion to me that “once the sprayer is turned on, it stays on”. After that, she proceeded to pretty much talk over the top of me, no matter what I said, so when I finally did get her snotty attention, I let her know we were done with their service for good. I won’t pay a dime to a company that employs such a snippy, arrogant, and condescending person for customer service. I wonder if they know who actually pays their wages?
