We haven't had the best track record when it comes to using landscape companies. Whether it was not showing up when scheduled or applying a blanket / generic approach to our landscape needs, we have not been impressed. But Kentucky Twist is a breath of fresh air! Not only did they meet their scheduled times, but their communication before and during the process was courteous, professional and timely. It's obvious how much customer service means to them. But equally as important, they assessed our needs and customized their services to accommodate. In addition, they educated us along the way to help us be more proactive in maintaining our yard. The results were AWESOME! We could not have been more pleased! Not only will KT be our one and only landscape company going forward but I will make sure to communicate to all of my friends and family just how great their services are as I love to see a company who works so hard for its customers be around for years to come. Thanks KT! You guys are the best!

I was so impressed with Mike and Kentucky Twist Creations & Services! I'd asked 3 or 4 other landscapers to give me recommendations and quotes on a drainage issue I was having. A couple never came by and the one who did never got back with me on a quote or even to say he wasn't interested in the job. Mike not only came by but he spent 30 minutes looking over the problem areas, took measurements but got back to me with a quote in less than a week. We worked out the details easily, set a date and he got the work done in less than time than he originally estimated. I've had them do an additional project since that first job and they've also drawn up a wonderful landscaping plan for me to put in on my own this fall (they offered to do it for me and take off the cost of the plan as well). They were so easy to work with, both on the scope of the plan, worked out ways that I could reduce costs, had a great payment plan and the whole experience was no pressure. I cannot say enough good things about them and look forward to using them for all my landscaping and lawn-care needs in the future. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I would not recommend this service to anyone. I unfortunately asked Mike to take care of my lawn because he was already coming out to mow my neighbor’s yard. He was removing part of my fence in order to get his mower in my backyard – without my knowledge or permission. When my fence finally fell over, I of course paid someone to come out and fix it. Only then did Mike come tell me he had been moving it every time he came to my house. He offered to “fix” it in a way that would work for him, and I have attached a picture below of his work. My gate would no longer shut. I couldn’t let my dog out in the yard without a leash because he had ruined my fence. I had to hire a contractor again to come out and rebuild my fence gate which was several hundred dollars. I fired Mike over the whole ordeal, but he came crawling back apologizing so I agreed to keep him on. Then, after all that, he decides that he isn’t coming out to my side of town anymore – but doesn’t tell me! I had been paying him, and he had been cashing my checks and emailing me estimates for other services that I could add. When I contacted him and said my yard needed mowed, only then did he call me and try to say that I had canceled the service – even though I had clearly been sending regular payments which had been going towards my account that I could view online. Mike does not care about taking care of your property, and he doesn’t know how to take care of customers. Look elsewhere for your lawn care.

We are sorry that you are unhappy we are no longer servicing your area after your contract ended in 2016. You have been a valued customer for three years. All over payments were refunded or returned. As per our conversation, we are more than happy to refer you to a very skilled landscaper who does service your area.
