They are super nice when you are buying a new mower, but like other reviewers have stated, they do not honor warranties and they do not communicate with you. Customer service is poor and they WILL take full advantage of you. We will not do business here again.

Cheri, your communication skills are extremely lacking. Don't make excuses for the way this business takes advantage of people.

I'm so sorry you feel as if you were taken advantage of. I personally took a step further in trying to get your carburetor warrantied but after additional review of the manufactured part Briggs declared there was no defect and denied the claim. I again apologize for the miss communication in handling your repair. There is no excuse I could offer to validate the neglect you have felt. It was not my intention to do that. It was an over site on my part, the season has started with a bang and my focus was to get your mower back to you in a prompt manner.

From the internet Facebook request I made to the phone calls I had with sales and finance along with the guys in the shop were spoke with when I arrived this morning everyone was top notch!

They explained every question I had from potential warranty work to how to use the machine.

Bought 2 go karts from them today 3900 and change with the delivery fee.  2 hours after delivery while I was covering the go karts and storing them until Christmas found one has a bent key.  Went to the store to ask about them fixing or replacing the key was told "try to bend it back but don't break it".  I was not informed of the nonrefundable nature of all sales BEFORE I handed over the stack of hundred dollar bills.  Don't give these people your money if you're in the market for a go kart I strongly urge you to go elsewhere.

Worked with Kevin on the purchase of my Scag VRide 2 and had a great experience. Easy to work with and got me exactly what I was looking for. They are very busy, but always find time to take care of their customers. Highly recommend.

Sometimes we have to go back because the parts we buy (for the commercial mower we purchased here) are not the correct ones. Has happened several times. Wrong fuel filter, etc.

I bought a battery powered car with the wrong wheel in the box and the store refused to exchange it with one they had at the store. I bought it for my kids at Christmas and they had to wait  about 45 days to ride it. The owners wife was also very rude and unprofessional.

Very pleased with recent purchase. Great products and courteous staff.

We bought a skag mower here. Love the mower but the service here was disappointing to say the least. After seeing a sign on the wall I asked about the veterans/ first responders discount from scag. They took a copy of my husband's information and told us to come back the next day to pick up the mower(it still had to be assembled)
They called and informed us they couldn't find any available discount for the model we got that. The discount is only for the commercial models. Just to double check we contacted the skag manufacturer directly and they informed us the model we have was eligible for a discount. We arrived the next day to pick up the mower, we informed the woman handling our paperwork that a discount was available and she insisted one was not. At that point my husband called back the skag representative and started to read off some numbers so they could look up the information. The woman handling the paperwork snatched it out of my husband's hand and said she would take care of it. She came back out shortly after with a new set of paperwork with the discount applied.

Sorry I wasn’t available at the time and she didn’t know.    There are quite a few models with Scag that the cash price is a national sale and there isn’t any veterans discount on some of the units.   She was just mistaken on which ones the discount applied.   Usually I handle all the discount programs because they are all different and can be confusing.   Glad the rep could help while I was out.   Ty for your service glad you were able to get the discount after all.

As far as any frustration you felt from her it was towards her for getting it wrong and upsetting a customer she takes it hard when she messes up.   She has a huge heart and passion for trying to keep people happy and do her job perfectly and gets very upset anytime she falls short.   That’s why she is my second in command up there now.   We fall short daily, hopefully the many years we have a relationship with you the good fruit outweighs the bad.
They went above and beyond to get the deal fixed up and the discounts that the company passed on to you, you got a fresh built machine out of the crate, and everything got finished up, I am proud everything turned out.   9035174093 is my personal cell would always love the chance to make something right as the owner.

I choaked when I paid the bill.  I was told not more than $200. All I wanted was new blades put on the mower since the old ones were bent  and to check the battery (which there wasn't anything wrong with it, the charge had gone down during the snow) and pickup and delivery.  Well $384 later when I paid.  They not only put new blades on the mower but did a full service (I did not ask for and did not need) without calling me first. Then I scheduled my delivery after repair and was told 8am I stayed at home until 1 and then called and was told talk to the owner who said I should never have been told that and it would be delivered after 5 when they closed, so once again I made sure that I was home to accept delivery after 5pm.... The mower never arrived. So I called at 8:45 and rescheduled and I did get my mower that afternoon.  Unfortunately the mechanic did not put the chains back on the front of the deck that kept the deck level, the guy offered to take it back and I said no, there's no telling when I'd get it back.  My neighbor is fixing that.  I drive it over to my neighbor and the speed on the mower is now cut in half, don't know what they did to cut the speed back.  I might be a woman but I don't like to be treated like I'm dumb and don't know anything.  But, I did get the feeling that they thought they could do whatever.  Well, I don't give second chances, once someone does work that I didn't request and charges me for it, that's that, I won't be back.  You definitely need more help at the counter because when your waiting on a customer you should finish waiting on that customer.  Don't keep putting them on hold while you take phone calls.

Response to answer:. The chains did not come off pulling on and if the trailer they were bolted on.   Whoever worked on it unbolted them.  They were both removed. I couldn't care less what kind of work you thought it needed that was my decision to make not yours.  I requested BLADES ONLY. I expected a $200 bill and you doubled it without calling first. Maybe you should consider that the person your doing the work for might not be able to pay that extra $200 you charged at that point because they have a budget, but you didn't consider that you just saw more money in your pocket and to hell with what the customer could afford at that time, you end up having to pay to get your mower back, even if you didn't request the work. Pay or loose your mower. That was my decision to make not yours and a very poor business practice.  As far as you working on my transmission I think not... There was nothing wrong with it when you picked it up from my house.  You've done enough damage.  My neighbor has already offered to keep up my mower for me and at least he won't do anything without asking me first.  I'm not happy with the service you provided and as I said before I won't give anyone a second chance to screw me over.  I'd take my mower to Dallas before I'd ever let you work on it again.  You need to unswell your head and oversize ego that your the best there is.  I read your reviews (I should have read them ahead of time), you've always got an excuse for everything you and your employees do wrong, especially when you've made a decision for the customer without their consent.  Also I wasn't in any hurry.  I did want to mow before I went back to work since I'm Gone every other week and didn't want to wait until I came back next time and didn't want to take up space at your business that's the only reason I needed it delivered now.  I do consider the business I am working with and don't expect them to store my mower any longer than necessary so they have room for others needing repairs.  Your integrity is very poor and you should be ashamed to call yourself a Christian.

It’s a mad house this year.   We are more than over whelmed.  The guys don’t take any kind of chains off the deck to put blades on we just drive the tires onto a jack and the jack raises it in the air to replace the blades.   The chains could’ve came unhooked when driving on or off the trailer sorry  about that.    The guys checked your air filter and oil and it was bad we aren’t going to send one back thats not ready for the year.   As far as telling you we would be there at 8 that’s impossible we don’t even get there till 8 then it takes a while.   I was out delivering till 10 last night and it was too late to deliver yours.   I do all the delivery’s after hours right now because it’s too busy to do it during the day.   On delivery it is an extra service and you have to be patient with us, we just call when we are headed out and if your not there or it’s too late we try the next day.   We never promise a time and never ever want anyone sitting waiting on us..   If there is something wrong with your transmissions we would be happy to work on it for you and of course you would be put at the front of the line.  My guys didn’t do anything to damage the transmissions the replaced your blades, whatever issue was with your battery and serviced your mower out and got it ready for the year.   It worked and mowed great when the guys got done going through it.    I’m sorry your not happy with the service we do the best we can while overwhelmed this time of year.  Everyone wants now and is in a hurry all at once, then gripe when we simply do our job and are thorough with their equipment.
