  Rude, and make sure he has workman's comp for all of his employees First I contacted Josh's tree service he came out to look over the project. He said that he would send me an estimate, I never received one, second he was very critical as to our choice of trees in our front yard telling me he could cut them down for me. I hadn't at any point expressed to him that I wanted those trees removed and showed him the three trees on my property that needed to be removed. He said the trees in my yard were "junk trees" and that they should be removed. I sent him two texts messages asking for a written estimate, I never heard from him again. As to Josh's comment that he spoke with my husband, and that my husband informed him he was going to rent a lift and do it himself is an out and out lie. At no point did my husband speak with Josh, and furthermore my husband has no experience in tree removal and would never attempt to use a lift!!!!! In my opinion this man is not to be trusted.

  I apologize Mr. and Mrs. Meyer if you feel I was rude to you in any way. Let me clarify the situation for all reading this review. First, I absolutely do have workers comp on all my employees. My father got seriously injured when he was younger and workers comp was a big help to our family. I have never actually worked for the Meyers. I believe they are upset because I wasn't able to get to their job as quickly as they wanted. I recently stopped at their house to discuss the job with them and Mr. Meyers told me he planned on renting a lift and doing it himself.

  Josh Howard is a very skilled and experienced climber, I had one very tight spot for an old hemlock to be dropped and it came within inches of what he called. The other tree had a lot of large leads with it being a red maple, but he kept everything coming down in very precise places. His crew is polite, efficient, and the cost was very reasonable.

  Josh and his crew were here when they said that they would be. They quickly cut down a large maple that was standing dead. They did so with a minimum of fuss and great efficiency. I could not recommend them highly enough.
