  They mow week after week in the exact same pattern so now we have huge ruts from the tire tracks and the grass in those areas rarely if ever gets mowed because they just keep smashing it down with the tires. Poor excuse given “they do not believe there anything that can be done to prevent this due to the way they must mow that property.” Seriously sad response because there is no reason you couldn’t mow in a different pattern other than pure laziness and not wanting to take the time. It is not our fault if a company may have too many customers to handle and do a proper job. Blades are either dull or non existent and definitely too high. Also never had a lawn service that continuously blows the grass directly into our air conditioning condenser so we have to clean weekly!!

  Laurie, Thanks for voicing your concern to us here at JM Landscape & Snow Plowing. We appreciate customer feedback to help resolve issues and to address to our current employees to better our service. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the mowing service on common property at the HOA that you currently reside in. We have been servicing HOAs in village green since 2008. Directional mowing on the common property that belongs to the HOA starts with a few different things. One the condition of the property and direction of mowing by previous company’s. Two, mowing in a direction that results in the most efficient result. Three, trying to use the driveways and roadways as best we can to turn to reduce the risk of ripping up the lawn. As far as your concern about our blades being dull or non existent, our equipment is far from that. Our mowers are leveled once a month and our blades are sharpened once a week. On top of that we scrape the mower decks and grease all equipment weekly. The height of the mowing is a standard across the board height for upstate New York lawns. We mow at 2.75-3 inches. And unless the lawn was golf course type we would not mow any shorter than that. Another thing I can assure you is JM Landscape and it’s employees are far from lazy and we take pride in our work, we do not over extend ourselves and strive to go above and beyond when we can. Even if that means taking an extra step that may not be in the current contract. As far as the grass in the A/C unit. We were never made aware of this situation, and if we were I could assure you that it would have been taken care of.   I’ve been using the JM team for over 15 years and these guys are the best in the business. When it comes to snow removal my driveway is always cleared in the morning and evening when i leave for work and the same when I get home. For lawn mowing they show up with a large crew and mow 3 acres for me in the time it would take me to put gas in my mower. I love working with these guys they are the best around.
