I had my mower repaired at the beginning of last summer. I paid about 300.00 for all they did for tune up. At the start of September the mower wouldn't work. After paying that money you would think the mower would still work. They had it for over 3 weeks. The beginning of this summer Jim's repair service picked my mower up on Friday I got it back on Monday and I paid significantly less. PLEASE use Jim's repair service. They were awesome.

Had used this shop in the passed when Dad Jim had it and had no problems. Last weed had a weed eater worked on for a bad spark plug wire problem and was called told it was ready. Pick it up and it would not stay running. Took it back they called 2 days later said again it was ready. The employee said “ We ran it for a hr and used it 20 mins outside. “ Got it home and it started but as soon as you touch the grass it would die. Called to let Judy know the employee just lied to me about using it out side and who lets a motor run an hour?. Now 30 mins later a employee calls me on my person phone just to start a fight. Very stupid move. Did you think I was going to take your crap over the phone without posting a review of your behavior. Judy (Owner) if you know nothing about the phone call and you don’t believe me and believe your employee check you phone records. BAD BUSINESS, BAD WORKMANSHIP. BAD SOCIAL SKILLS. Stupid to call a customer back if your not going to listen to the customer.

I called them on Wednesday to see if they could get my carborator for my Husquvarna mower repaired by the weekend. They lady on the phone said sure, no problem. I had already taken it off the mower to drop it off to be repaired. I understand they are very busy this time of year but that is no excuse for the lack of communication I have recieved from them. Last I spoke with the mechanic on Saturday he said they would have to order the choke part on Monday and would have it ready by mid next week which is today. When I called today too see if it was ready I was told I would have to buy a whole new carborator because that part wasn't replaceable. Then I asked how much a new one would cost and was told they needed the numbers off the motor to see if they could order the part or get a price on a new carb. No one bothered to call me Monday to get the numbers off the motor so they could order the part then when they were supposed to be ordering the part. No body called me to let me know anything. Now it is mid week, expecting it to be ready and my 5 acres of grass I have to mow looks like a jungle and will be even harder to get back under control. I am not happy and I would never recommend this shop to anyone. I will pick up my carborator and take it elsewhere. I prefer to do business with local family owned places whenever I can but this time I am very disappointed.
