  Will never go back to him again. Everything i take to get worked on takes forever to get back and doesn't run right and have to take back several times. They say they will call and never do. Just like today when his wife said she would call TODAY and didn't. I called them and they are closed. They lie all the time. If you don't need your item right away, this is the place for you to take it. Good luck!

  He is a big lier he needed a special pulley made it take time He didn't get changed for it don't so don't come back

  I visited Jeff's as my last hope to find a small woodruff key I desperately needed and no one around had it in stock. He not only had the part, he tried to give it to me for free. He did this on another occasion with a carburetor jet I needed right away. I had inner tubes put in two lawn mower tires and I was shocked at how inexpensive and efficient Jeff was in getting this done for me. Jeff is very knowledgeable and helpful in my experience. This isn't a fancy place but I suppose that is why his prices are lower than anyone around the area. This place has been a huge help to keep my projects on track. I'll be back!

  My experiences lead me to believe that Jeff is an inept mechanic, and is operating a business with questionable (at best) ethics. He failed to maintain his word as a man, reportedly kept equipment he was supposed to repair and seems to have emotional problems when confronted with us wrongdoings. Will never, ever recommend. Will never, ever bring him anything in the future. Recommend legal action for any wrong doings suspected. St. Joseph, MO deserves better. One star rating is too good for Jeff.
