Most unprofessional buissness I have ever dealt with. I called multiple buissnesses back in Novemeber to have my sprinklers blown out. Their receptionist informed me she would check to see if they could come out and would call us back. We received no call back so decided to hire another company to do the job. Weeks later we get a bill from Jeff's lawn care for their "service." I informed them that we did not get a confirmation for any service nor was anything put on our door to inform us a service had been done. The receptionist was rude and told me.if was my responsibility to tell them I was no longer interested. I told her I was not going to pay for a service that was never finalized nor did I agree on a time or date to have it done. My wife then received a call from them demanding payment. My wifr let them know we did not agree to this service or even know they came to our house. The receptionist began threatening to send us to collections if we don't pay. At this point we will just have to fight this in court because of how stubborn they are and refuse to accept they are in the wrong. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I don’t personally use Jeff’s Lawn Maintenance and NEVER will but my neighbor does. I have had nothing but problems with them since they started doing my neighbors’ yard. The first incident started a couple years ago when they dug out a French drain along my yard (neighbor has a problem with overwatering and flooding out entire side of my yard). When trenching for the French drain, large rocks, dirt, gravel and sod ended up being thrown into my yard and our community’s common area. When they were finished making their mess, they used the leaf blower to blow everything else that they found, including garbage from neighbors’ yard, into mine. I called and made my first complaint with Janice (co-owner) and she could care less and just explained that’s what happens when you have a shared property line. I have curbing between us and the neighbor with many nearby flowering plants running the entire length. I take great pride in maintaining my yard and flowerbeds along with countless hours out making sure my yard looks neat and tidy. I have had to on NUMEROUS occasions go out and had a chat with Jeff’s lawn crew to please stay out of my flowerbeds/yard when mowing and please don’t blow the yard debris/garbage into my yard. They have even taken an edger on several occasions to my flowers! After trying to politely talk to them without any luck, I decided to purchase 2 1/2 ft tall wrought iron fencing to place the entire length of my curbing (placed fencing so its on my side of my curbing) to keep out the yard crew. This worked for a short period of time before they started deliberately “bumping” against it, causing damage and causing me to have to make repairs and adjustments. Two weeks prior one of the workers backed into the fencing and bent 2 of the panels. He was at least very apologetic and offered to fix the fencing but I told him I would fix it (I was appreciative of his sincere apology and willingness to make right). On another occasion, I was home and noticed them bumping up against my fence and blowing debris in my yard. Some damage had already been done to my fence and I went out to ask them to please stop destroying my fence and blowing debris into my yard. The response I received was unexpected as the person from Jeff’s said that if I don’t like the way they service my neighbor’s yard and the damage they cause to my property, that I could pack up and move to another neighborhood. Yesterday on 6/24/21 I wasn’t home until late afternoon when I happened to look outside and see that 4 of my fencing panels were significantly damaged by them again! I tried calling Jeff’s 3 different times with no answer so I left a message for a return call. They called me back today and when I explained what had happened to Janice (again) she didn’t seem overly concerned but said she would talk to her husband Jeff and they would take a look. Both showed up at the property and looked at the damage but he was unwilling to listen to what I had to say (unfortunately, this led to me having to raise my voice as I didn’t feel I was being heard), and I explained the original reason fencing was put up was to keep his employees OUT of my yard/flowerbeds. Jeff stated he didn’t feel that his yard crews came onto my property and that one of the crew had stated that the fencing was leaning towards neighbors’ yard (which only happens after they hit the fencing) but he would also talk to the home owner regarding this matter which basically translated to nothing would get done to prevent further damage to my property. At the very least he could have apologized for the damage and assured me that his crews would not do any further damage or at least replace the damaged fencing. There have been several other yard services that have worked on my neighbors’ yard previously, and I have had NO problems with any of them. They always stayed in his yard and didn’t get into my flowerbeds or blow debris into my yard. I wouldn’t recommend Jeff’s Lawn maintenance ever.
Response from the owner
This review is in reference to a neighborhood dispute between two people in which we were drug into. I don’t feel the need to address all her issues here, but I will however, do with the plants and fence that she references. Her plants hang over the neighbors property, which we service, and lays on the grass and we have had to trim them back to the property line. As far as her fence goes, when she called, she mentioned it was not much of a fence, but she had paid $600 for it anyway. The fencing question is a garden section of fence that sticks in the ground about 1 to 2 inches, it is not a wrought iron fence. It has a little pegs that slide into a holder and it’s pushed into the ground. Anything can move it, even the wind, which it lays over all the time onto the neighbors property. When she called, she was very upset about the fence and asked what we were going to do about it. We stated we needed to go take a look at it and we would get back with her. When we got there, we noticed a fence over hanging on the neighbors property like it always does, she came out and again was very upset and confrontational I was told several times if she wanted to be civil, we could talk about it but I was not going to be confrontational with her. She continued so I stated I was not going to talk to her anymore about it. She asked what are you going to do about it, and I stated I would talk to our client about the situation. She said, “well that won’t do any (explicit) good, and I said, “well standing here being confrontational with me doesn’t do any good either”, and it was left at that.

Returned from a week vacation to find our front yard almost dead. Jeff arrived the morning that I called, quickly diagnosed the sprinkler problem and fixed it. He also showed me how to unclog the filter and advised me on how to revive my dead lawn. I also use them for sprinkler blowouts and they do a great job!
