  Overall very happy with the 590M S4 we received. The lead time was excessive (almost 8 months to receive) but understand the challenges with the supply chain issues. The gator did have an issue immediately (within first 2 miles) and a sensor and the throttle body needed to be replaced. However the team at James River Shelby took care of it quickly and I haven't had issues since. Also Matt Holland (Internal Sales Manager) has been fantastic and kept me informed of progress over the last few months. Overall this would have been a 5 star rating for James River, but a 4 star for John Deere lead times and the issue I had immediately.

  My experience with James River Equipment of Shelby was great! At a time when commodities of all types were in short supply, I went online and contacted Matt Holland. Matt was great at finding the tractor, all the implements and outfitting the tractor to my specs. He also aided in financing with everything done from the comfort of home. He had everything sent to James River of Shelby, where I picked it up. Brian O’Shields demonstrated, let me test drive, then helped me load and tie down all equipment. Everyone there was very helpful as well!

  The process of purchasing through this dealership was seamless. My salesman, Matthew Holland, was absolutely amazing. He always made himself available to answer my questions and made sure I had all the information I needed to make the best decision I could. I highly recommend Matt and the entire team that was involved in my purchase. Ethan, the service technician who came out and added some attachments that came in after delivery, was awesome as well. He installed the attachments and made sure I understood how everything worked. I couldn't leave this review without mentioning Ron Morgan, store manager of the Shelby store. Ron was such a great guy to deal with. Ron made a trip to my house personally to make sure everything was taken care of and that I was satisfied with the whole process. You don't get the personal treatment that I received during my purchase very often these days and I must say it was a breath of fresh air. I look forward to doing business with this group again in the future.
