Jake's Lawn Care planted jasmine and installed a rock path in the front yard.  They were the best quote and completed the work in a timely manner.  Prior to quoting, the owner came out and walked through outlining all the work they intended to do.  He suggested jasmine as a great choice for a shaded area.

Jake’s has taken care of our business location for 3 years. Always on time and never disappointed when they leave. They do a great job of mowing and leaf clean up. When seasonal planting comes around they do a great of job communicating on what needs to be done. 100% recommend if you’re looking to make the switch.

The team who is assigned to my property does an excellent job. My yard is primarily flower beds, and the crew always makes sure to trim carefully around each bed, in addition to mowing. Well worth the money.

Just visited my mom and her weekly lawn service was just here. Since she signed up with Jake’s her yard has never looked so bad. I asked some of my FWPD friends if they had any recommendations for service and when I told them who she hired they said “oh she wants to pay high dollar for poor service?” Today they blew all her leaves into the dog run and mowed with poor attention to quality. They didn’t even edge or use the weed eater.

Jana  thank you for your review, your Mom called and put our service on hold for the winter and did not call us back until 2 weeks ago. Yes you did see the crew blow the leaves in the dog run but they also mulched and then bagged them up as to cut down on the  number of bags being hauled away. I have worked for several FWPD and FWFD who do not seem to think that my service is poor and too expensive including some high ranking long term officials .Ex DEA, Homicide , Captains etc. We work very hard and provide a great service and try very hard to please all of our customers. Look at the common dominator here, same crew as last year and everything was great  Your Mom really liked the things we did and with the same crew this year we can not do anything right it seems .We have had a bad winter. You had major tree trimming and fence repairs, lots of people have trampled the lawn. I'm sorry you feel i have let your Mom down but there is not much I can do when I'm asked to hold off. Honestly when I'm asked to stop coming how can I improve anything? Again I'm sorry and will try harder.

This is what my yard looks like sixteen days after the Bermuda grass was laid. The yard is very lumpy and uneven, the grass is dying in some areas. Dry stubble from broken sod is evident throughtout the yard. I had removed a lot if it last week. After the rains this past weekend a patch of green grass suddenly died. This morning, 5/20/2020 the yard appears to be under more stress.The representative from the company came out yesterday to look at the yard. His conclusion was that the yard was a done like the yards they do on million dollar homes, and also it was done  as if he was doing it for his own mother. The day after the grass was laid an email was sent to the the company requesting that a roller be sent out to smoothen out the obvious lumps. I was told that the damper that was used on the grass was better than the roller. The men who came did an excellent job repositioning the brick border for me and even laid down some new ones that was not part of the job description. They were given a nice tip for their labor.  My front yard is my pride and joy, but it pains me to look at it now. The gentleman told me that after mowing it would look even. Obvious dips will not give an even appearance, and also create uneven grass growth. Close to two thousands dollars wasted. There is an old adage that says, "The customer is always right." However, the inference was very obvious from the response of the company's representative that I was wrong in the assessment of the condition of my yard. In closing, I retired from  34 years of teaching, and one thing I  always practiced was making sure that the parents were happy with the instruction that their children received from me. I kept them informed and they kept me informed. The information gleaned from our communications was used in my instructional strategies to make sure that their children performed to their optimal best. I wish Jakes would have done the same for me. Mrs Davis,thank you for your feed back and rating. As we discussed on 5/20 by mowing your lawn and bagging will pick up the stubble or dried grass sprigs that did not take. . your lawn even though on a slope looked very good to me.I also explained how it would look after the first few mowings and these pictures are very common. The Sod from King Ranch Turf grass has always been a good product for me over the years. It's just now getting hot enough for Bermuda grass to really take off. We bid taking out the hump area and we did just that. I educated you on watering, spraying weeds, and proper care on watering without having a sprinkler system. Your lawn even though unmowed was as to be expected. Im very shocked to read this especially after talking to you yesterday. Please call the office and let me know what else i can do to please you.
